Being reported on Sky that there is feeling amongst SPL clubs that Rangers influenced St. Mirren and Ross County voting "no"

It is bordering on unbelievable, it has taken them a few hours to put the blame on Rangers. How did we know we would somehow get the blame.

The reason it failed is because it's a crap plan, simples.

Might have had something to do with Charles Green being at ST Mirren v Celtic game and the next day St Mirren announce they are voting against reconstruction! Coincidence!

On radio Clyde people are talking of boycotting st mirren and Ross county. I think next season when rangers are playing away I might just take in a few saints games.

Quite right milne of aberdeen can't hide his hatred of rangers the fans in scotland didn't want it so milne your a joke with your pathetic comments

How these top brass in the spl & sfa can take there big salaries is embarassing. Remember a few years ago. they said 12 teams. that will fix it, then they said top six would fix it. now they are saying splitting the league into more sections than ikea during the season will fix it! Aye ok keep taking the drugs! There are too many teams for a small country. The fact that junior teams are paying more money than teams in 3rd & 2nd division proves that. The fact is scottish football cannot survive without rangers & celtic in spl. It is simple as that

Let them boycott whoever they want remember they all voted us down let them fight among themselfs

1) yes coincidence, what could Green say to St Mirren that would influence them?
I have heard of conspiracy theories but really, you are taking the p,, s

Sporting Integrity wins at last.
Hope all concerned take note.

6 post down, exactly he cannot get his own house in order so why would anybody listen to him.

I think we have to apply a bit common sense regarding this. St Mirren and Ross County will have valid reasons, based on their respective club circumstances, to have voted against the proposal. It is highly unlikely they were influenced in any way by Rangers. What could we offer to them that would be of any benefit? We live in a democracy, and both clubs have exercised their right to vote, as did all SPL clubs; the difference: simply that 2 of those clubs chose not to follow the pack. Time will tell who chose the correct path to follow, but they shouldn't be judged or criticised prematurely, because events of the last year surrounding our own club highlight that the initial view is not necessarily the correct one!

There are too many teams and too little fans, redistributing more money down the line when the clubs at the top are struggling, is not solving this problem.

And its got nothing to do with the 2 friendlies being announced tomorrow involving Rangers vs St Mirren.

Maybe if Gilmour had been able to offer any reasonable explaination for such a swift change of tact at the said meeting today or,, even now belatedly,, it would go a long way to at least dispersing with the conspiricy theory's . Yes / No. ?

What could Green say to St Mirren that would influence them? you cannot be serious - how many bears have been taken in with CG's nonsense - I am sure he could have pulled wool over St. Mirren in 30 seconds. he has already offered to buy 300 tickets for home matches as a bribe. maybe he offered St. Mirren 1000 sales.

What a load of nonsence mr gilmour noticed cg had black and white socks on thank god cg never had his green socks on eh

never heard so much nonsense in my life, some of you really are so far gone its frightening, and you really believe they voted no, for rangers sake / such a worrying lot, hasn't dawned on you they are allowed to vote whichever way they want, they are the chairmen, and they are entitled to make their own minds up, and the clown from aberdeen should be brought to task for his attack on gilmour tommyblue
