i got a text of a friend in the no....he told me a deal as been agreed in principle that rangers will pay 11m to HMRC .....you no anything ED {Ed001's Note - I have not heard anything regarding it sorry.}

Believable9 Unbelievable14

Ur friend doesnt know anything. just like the rest of us

Agree0 Disagree0

I have heard similar chat, but i suspect it is wishful thinking.......

Agree0 Disagree0

If this was the case it means that the case has been lost or Rangers believe it will be lost.
I believe that HMRC will make an example of Rangers even if it means collecting less money than than they would with a deal. Winning the case will open the floodgates for HMRC to claim millions back from even bigger clubs than Rangers so in the long run HMRC will get their money.

Thoughts?

Agree0 Disagree0

My thoughts are if HMRC adopt the policy the last poster suggests then it would be catastrophic for rangers. There is no provision for negotiation after the finding so the liability will be fixed. If the funds to meet this are not available then insolvency with administration and possibly liquidation is unavoidable

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sure an 11 million dig is a win against HMRC as they would have done everything in there power to take 49 off us. Anything that doesn't invole us going into administration or having to rise under a new company name is a win dont kid yourself {Ed014's Note - Ed007 sent me a link about the hearing, like I said I am no expert on it all.It seems it will run to January. Will that stop any money being spent in January though?www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-15736024

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to agree with the 3rd poster... The noises coming from HMRC tells me that they are after the ruling in their favour in this case so doubt they'll be looking to do a deal. In the grand scheme of things the risk of losing out on £10-15m from Rangers, should they lose, will be worth the gamble for the potential hundreds of millions they could get from other companies should the ruling go in their favour

Agree0 Disagree0

HMRC will not accept an out of court settlement. If they did it would set precedent for everyone else guilty to barter with HMRC and they would have little power as everyone would refer to this case. Also nobody at HMRC will want to make the wrong decision in terms of how much they should accept, so at the end of the day they will go all or nothing and wait for it to be ruled by the courts.

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe he will get his chance soon, and St Johnstone would be a good test for him. Youth is the way ahead Bears. 4 in a row

Agree0 Disagree0

Not injured, as did he not get two goals in the mid week friendly against Corby Town

Sunil Chhetri is currently on trial at rangers along with another indian player. Sunil Chhetri plays for mohun Bagan. They have a nigerian striker with an amazing goalscoring record. He has only played 2 games for them but has scored 4 goals in those games. For his previous club he scored 94 goals in 84 games. He only signed for them this season but would probably jump at the chance to play for the gers. WATP

Believable11 Unbelievable13

They are not on trial yet. They are expected to arrive soon though

Agree0 Disagree0

Emmm no he's played 5 games scored 3 times hers his playing history

Hes talking about his team mate odafe onyeka okolie, 26 year old nigerian striker whos scored 98 goals 86 games for his past two clubs, dont know why though hes 26and not even been capped by nigeria, so its a bit of a pointless post

Agree0 Disagree0

How does a nigerian end up in India. Im pretty sure even big sammi would score in that league!

Agree0 Disagree0

The nigerian isnae on trial.whats yer point caller?

Agree0 Disagree0

Believable24 Unbelievable8

You are wlcome to the petted lipped little child welcome to bargain basement shopping

Agree0 Disagree0

Ooooooo Get you Bitchy or what.
You get some nice stuff in Primark xx

Agree0 Disagree0

Better bargain basement, than celtic prime time second rate , lower class, Underachievers. Glasgow Rangers ..... SIMPLY THE BEST , TIME AFTER TIME, AFTER TIME, LEAGUE OVER!!! ACCEPT IT AND BATTLE IT OUT FOR THIRD TIMOTHY!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully he does well because we could be doing with a natural pacy, tricky winger and that's exactly what he is. Only 22 so could turn out to be a great move to get him in. WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

I always thought he was Aberdeen's best player over the time he was up there.

PS that is apart from the great Ritchie Foster!.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope this boy kin beat a last defender n cross it aswell. .great feet on him W.A.T.P

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not a timothy as you put it u racist bigot(aberdeen 1983)

Agree0 Disagree0

In what way is any of the above posters racist. That's 2011 for you get called a racist for anything these days

Agree0 Disagree0

Your a hamish then if ur not a timothy:)

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a bluenose but I live in N.I. and I have never seen Aluko play, so I can't comment, is he good enough for Rangers or have we young lads just as good?

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy has great control and very fast and good skill he doesn't score many goals but when he does score there always cracking goals

Agree0 Disagree0

Great wee player take um in a heartbeat

Agree0 Disagree0

He's rank rotten.
