Spl hasnae a say in it. we, re a sfl team now mind its upto them and the sfa

Dave King will be majority shareholder soon.

Agree0 Disagree1

To all those mocking the poster for mentioning the SPL, where are we hoping to be in two years? We wouldn't be looking to bring in people to run the club only to be told they have to go if we get into the SPL! It's called forward planning (admittedly not our greatest strength)

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry I didn't mean the spl. ment the new set up the sfl, but honestly it has been approved and they will buy greens shares and yes I no its not allowed before xmas but its happening

Agree0 Disagree1

The responsibility of carrying out a fit & proper test is with the Football Club not with any of the football associations.

Agree0 Disagree0

The aim won't allow shares to pass hands so how can they buy them?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it not possible that Green is using the idea of selling his shares to the Easdales to bump up his asking price?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers can sign daly any time if he is a free agent but can register him to play on the 1st of September from which he can play football as he is a free agent. If we had to buy him he would only be able to play at Christmas.

Agree0 Disagree0

Does green not only own 8% and was the biggest single shareholder. the maths are not quite right there i'm afraid

Agree0 Disagree0

Those two crolla I know them personaly wouldn't go near them with a barge pole Same circus diferent clowns

Rangers feed reporting a price freeze on ticket prices.
GCUK

Believable52 Unbelievable20

Phew! I thought for a second it was the assets!

Agree0 Disagree0

Shdnt make any difference m8 still no transparency no answers no shirt sponsor or renaming financial information still the same diff team still the same management team still no ST for me! Do you they really think fans are so daft. just sounds like a desperate act to me what the f*@k is going on?

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm sure I seen a few months ago our shirt sponsors are Puma and Blackthorn Cider no? Just me?

Agree1 Disagree0

Reluctantly freezing. they always wanted to and this is good for supporters bad for business loosing money

celtic set the bar. 100 quid off killed rangers ever raising theirs. smart move

puts pressure on rangers as they always stated it would increase as they go up

Agree2 Disagree0

In the current climate people don't have the money to throw at their football club. People are very selective in the matches they attend now as they are looking at value for money. For Rangers to freeze season ticket prices it must mean there is concern about the number of books they will sell, let's be honest that's why Celtic did the same with their discount. if the Rangers budgets are set based on a 20% increase in ticket prices then this will have a serious knock on in terms of player purchases etc.

Agree2 Disagree0

Why would rangers care about celtic slashing their prices to entice fans back. We are practically sold out every other week. We were told rangers fought reconstruction so they could hike ticket prices. Yet now we are told by the darkside that we had to keep them the same to sell tickets.

Agree0 Disagree1

Almost sold out every week, aye right, dream on. There are 15000 empty seats every week at Ibrox unless there is a call to battle. Well, the reason you should care is that if Celtic are cutting their prices and Rangers are increasing who are going to be more unhappy with that? Unhappy fans don't spend money and we all know what will happen if you guys don't all give them your money very soon.

Season tickets prices have been frozen at same as last season.

Believable45 Unbelievable18

But still no renewal date why??

First and foremost we should sell Ian Black, he is one of our top earners and has not played to a standard of football desired by rangers, there are plenty of players who offer a lot more at this level for a fraction of the wage. what's your views on this?
Deejay

Believable100 Unbelievable35

Next season I believe that we will see a different player and a player that shows all the skill that he showed at Hearts.

Agree0 Disagree4

Black would be my first choice to go, looks unfit and going through the motions for an easy payday, he can't pass, can't cross, slows the game down at every opportunity & believe it or not can't tackle.
Unfortunately, wanting him and others to go, and getting someone to take them of our hands is a problem, and we don't have the money to pay them off. Looks like same old same old next year if we are still allowed to play somewhere!

bil72

Agree3 Disagree0

So please tell me which club is going to meet Black's salary because youv'e already said he hasn't played up to ypur standards? £7k a week for a painter and decorator, therein lies your problems, nobody wanted him at the end of last season then you offer him £7k a week, you couldn't make it up!

Agree1 Disagree0

14 May 2013 15:23:12
How can U sell a player that no one wanted for free when his last club let him go so why now would they pay money for him, think back was he not going to start being a joiner or a plumber again until rangers offered him stupid money when they could have got him for a grand a week or less, so I think you are stuck with him

Agree1 Disagree0

Who would want him. When he signed he had no club remember. As you say he has hardly tore the division up!

Agree0 Disagree0

How long is his contract for? Might cost more in compensation fees.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he may improve with someone in the midfield to help him. but as you say on these wages he should be helping others. he patently is not, so as you say get rid and try and find a partner for the impressive McLoed
a young box to box player or a older holding midfielder someone who can find templeton and McKay. if we can get shot of him then hell yes go for it

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the first post, everything in our team is early days at the moment. Give him more time

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree. Black has done nothing to suggest that he will be of benefit to the team in the coming couple of years. I though Rangers played better when he was injured. He is too defensive minded and is always prone to a pointless and avoidable booking.

Agree1 Disagree0

If we are honest, very few of the players have done anything worth getting excited about this past season. The defence excluding Wallace has been a disaster and if we are looking to exit players then Cribari and the Greek fellow along with one or two of the other so called centre backs should be on their way and for me Shiels should be on his way unless he develops a heart and some backbone.

Blackie will be captain when big jig retires!

Agree0 Disagree1

I can't believe professional footballers require more time. in the real world which one of us would be given a year in any of our jobs to get it right. in his case still not right. Paid more than any of us to kick a ball, keep fit and earn a fortune, get on with it!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can believe ally needs more time
this pre-season its going to be something else because that's the reason we were served up football with no passion, no urgency, flat flat football and do you know what that was the way it was when he was in charge in the cup games, flat as a pancake
if were stuck with him. what can be done about this?

Agree0 Disagree0

Give Black another year, he could be a different player next season. Remember Mark Hately, everyone wanted him sold after his 1st season which was shocking but look how different he was after that.

Wullie - RFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would buy back - nobody else wants him when he was for free- stuck with him & another drain on wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Ian black is the worst rangers player ever'''' not thro talent but sheer mind set. he is a total person and couldn't care less and shouldn't be allowed to wear the gersy

Agree0 Disagree0

I could not agree more. it was a mistake to sign him in the first place. no one in the bottem 3 divisions play with a sitting midfielder. we need a playmaker in there. we need to sort out the center of defence first.

Agree0 Disagree0

In a scrappy league he has made scrappy tackles, your right in saying he slows the play down but I doubt for one second Ally signed him thinking this boy is going to set the place on fire if anything it was quite the opposite, we desperately needed leaders and arguably still do Ian Black is exactly that and not only that when the opposition is on the attack he will do everything humanely possible to break up play, it may not be pretty but in these leagues at this level its a necessatiy. He is maybe on too much money but at the time we were desperate for numbers and experience, he does the dirty work on the field the type of player I love playing with because it means he plays the 6 yard pass to me when he gets it and I can run at the defence!

Herald tapes this morning further show Green acting as a front for Whyte and Whyte at very least involved - direct contravention of the SFA licence. back to square one now - forget about signings - need to re-apply to be in the league!

Believable79 Unbelievable56

There is no need this is all a farce we are just getting told thing's that the club want to be made public if it was that bad they would have taken action by now

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen timmy what is your point this has nothing to do with the club if we have been scammed again am sure nothing will happen its just the fans that suffer again. green has done the rite thing and stepped aside the quicker he sells his shares in in good faith the better. clubs needs cleaned from top to bottom but I can't see it happining because their are to many cling ons. kev

Agree1 Disagree0

What gets said on this incriminating tape that proves cg was a front cw then

Agree0 Disagree0

Kev, you been in hibernation for last 18 months? The fact is that rangers were given a provisional SFA licence last minute to be in the Ramsden Cup. the so called 5 way agreement - one of the clauses is the fit and proper person test. So you think CW still being involved is OK. or are we still got heads in sand and denying CW involved. of course he is involved! its obvious that a simple task of renaming the stadium cannot take place because he is involved in the ownership. get the heads out of the sand

Agree0 Disagree1

Tapes are not necessarily heard in context. also people say things to some folk that ain't really true shall I say.
no doubt Green is up to his neck in dirt, but we will have to wait and see where the investigation leads us.
I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall at last weeks meeting though. the fact that no leaks have come out about it is interesting!

HAVE THEY CAUGHT THE LEAKER.?

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte releasing tapes to expose Green, same time Someone exposing boardroom minutes (? when did that last happen) to frame malcolm murry.

McMurdo believes Green is whiter than whyte, and cares more than a real rangers fan Malcolm Murray.

Whyte and Green and Ahmed are from the same cloth. liars and conmen. spouting untruth and spin. Yet Mcmurdo wants green back??

Malcolm keeps stum and let's players on pitch do all the talking - but is one folks want to leave. ?

Trustworthy directors worth thier weight in gold. as they WONT risk the club on a reckless gamble.

Green/Whyte/Ahmed will gamble. as its not thier money they gambling.

Agree0 Disagree0

Trustworthy directors worth thier weight in gold. as they WONT risk the club on a reckless gamble.

well we have to go back a bit to find a director like that thanks you SDM, whyte, green
