Record reporting we have made 600k bid to Hamilton for Docherty. I said this 10 days ago. They want 800k. Well worth it in my opinion.

12 Jan 2018 21:21:53
Definitely worth 800k Jboy.

If you gave me the choice of Docherty or Kenny Maclean is still take DochertyšŸ‘šŸ¼ Great player. Wages wonā€™t be too high either

12 Jan 2018 21:48:23
agree bear mode - anytime iā€™ve seen the lad iā€™ve been impressed. I know couple of accies fans who go every wk and they rate him highly

heā€™s a wee firecracker thatā€™s scores goals old skool box to box midfielder not pigeon holed as a defensive mid or attacking mid as we all seem to do now . whatever happened to just being a midfielder who does both!

I reckon heā€™d do a similar job to someone like a mcginn it at a fraction of the price - i'd be a happy bear if we got him

would also like cummings or naisy if poss but i know some disagree on this - all i want is the best players on the park for rangers and the likes herrera just wonā€™t do guys

12 Jan 2018 22:32:19
Docherty already for me a better player than Mclean!
Would be a good signing!

13 Jan 2018 00:30:37
Agreed Trev. I seen Hearts trying to sign Naismith. Surely we arenā€™t going to miss this opportunity and let him go to Hearts? Especially if he is saying he will play for free for the rest of the season (which btw I donā€™t think that would happen, the club would just start his contract as normal from when he signs) .

Plus with the amount of ex Rangers players that have scored against us this season, he would be a dead cert to bag goals against us šŸ˜‚

13 Jan 2018 05:02:33
The lads a class act and exactly they type of player we should be signing.

13 Jan 2018 09:05:55
Would love to sign him but there has been no bid. Record saying this morning we made an enquiry and Hamilton chairman on record as saying no bids been made

13 Jan 2018 12:45:28
OMG. so we are financing this deal with? more of next years season ticket money again? The Murphy deal should tell you something the visually impaired could see, we are in essence "skint" and can afford no 1. We need loans to live we needs loans to breath we need loans from clubs to get players, we always need LOANS.

LOAN:a thing that is borrowed, especially a sum of money that is expected to be paid back with interest.
The bit we the support keep missing is "paid back" our Blue tinted specs are coloured so dark we only see posotives from glaring negatives.
King like Murray before him will drag us down we need to open our eyes and take ove rour club and be bloody acceptable to the fact we no longer have the abillity to spend millions that don't exsist.

13 Jan 2018 12:49:21
You donā€™t have Ā£8 let alone Ā£800k back in your box

13 Jan 2018 13:11:57
Really whiskers? So I take it 50,000 at Ibrox every second week are just let through the turnstiles for free? I could go on, but il not waste my time. Fact and logic is wasted on your type.

The sheer rage is ripping out you mate. Back in YOUR box.

13 Jan 2018 13:07:52
Whiskers you concentrate on spending dembelle dolla although i heard that currency isn't doing so hot just now,007 more like mr bean than bond

13 Jan 2018 13:53:09
I hope Rangers get this young lad Docherty and quickly. There is interest from other clubs, so no messing around Rangers with silly offers. Do the right thing or we'll lose out.

13 Jan 2018 14:08:41
Players like Docherty and McLean are both equally as vital to our progression. We must do all we can to make sure they become Rangers players.

13 Jan 2018 14:47:13
McLean for free is a no brainer. I like Docherty but McLean is a good player. Better than holt, a different more attacking player than jack

13 Jan 2018 14:53:13
100% want Docherty, exactly the type of profile we should be packing our squad with: young, hungry, talented. Need to improve the midfield which will benefit the attack and defence. Once Dorrans is back we need him further up the pitch, I see him as a 15-20 goals a season player if played in the no.10 role with Windass as back up.

12 Jan 2018 18:13:43
Danny Wilsonā€™s agent has once again offered him to Orlando City. A little worrying given how well he has played lately. He seems to be relishing his role at the club at the minute, yet agent still touting him elsewhere. Thankfully scouting team thinks heā€™s too slow, but head coach watched him v Celtic and likes him a lot.

12 Jan 2018 18:23:00
Nonsense

12 Jan 2018 18:51:32
I'm surprised wilson hasn't been offered a new contract.

12 Jan 2018 19:36:41
Wilson will be offered a new contract and re-sign. It was Wilson who had a go at others at HT in Celtic game and got a reaction, he will be considered for the arm band when Alves goes.

12 Jan 2018 20:17:02
Wallace will be back soon with the armband

12 Jan 2018 20:24:19
Hope so scottyšŸ‘

12 Jan 2018 20:40:03
As far as i'm concerned its a no brainer to offer danny wilson a new contract! He's now coming into the form of his life and is a future captain of glasgow rangers! We must tie him down as soon as!

12 Jan 2018 21:33:58
Wallace is the captain.

12 Jan 2018 21:39:33
Wallace never a captain in a million years. Yes stood by club but time to move on. Jesus enough is enough. Get someone more vocal.

12 Jan 2018 21:50:27
Is this the same Wilson that has cost us goals time and time again. 2 good games out of 19

12 Jan 2018 21:58:48
I think we need to be realistic, Wallace is unlikely to get much game time and therefore Danny is the most sensible choice for captain. I donā€™t worry about him not being offered a contract, I worry about us losing him for nothing during the summer. I think heā€™s happy at Rangers and developing him into the long term captain should keep him here for the rest of his career.

12 Jan 2018 22:49:46
Wallace isn't a leader. u barely see him open his mouth on the park lucky to get in the starting 11 anyway because john has been brilliant so far.

12 Jan 2018 23:06:06
I don't think wallace is a captain either, I would rather wilson got the nod

13 Jan 2018 10:40:00
I have never rated Wallace. I think it should be given to a rangers man, someone who is playing for the shirt not the paycheque.

13 Jan 2018 13:52:36
I think you all really have to get this one game at Parkhead out of your heads because itā€™s starting to turn people a bit deluded on this forum.

13 Jan 2018 14:12:20
Danny Wilson is not always fan's favourite but could be around for another 10 plus years. We could be looking at the player who will play the most games for Rangers ever. With consistency he will be a key figure.

13 Jan 2018 23:51:35
Danny is too inconsistent for me. when he's good he looks really classy bit by god when he's bad heā€™s absolute dug meat

12 Jan 2018 18:03:35
Swansea sniffing around Morelos. Theyā€™ve the lowest budget in the premier league and see him as the perfect player to bring in for a low cost and potential big profit next year. I think he is great but we would be mad to turn down anything in the region of Ā£4m plus sell on fee.

12 Jan 2018 18:16:33
It will be interesting to see what others think but for me Ā£4m shouldn't be enough to acquire his signature.
It would be easy to argue that it's would be good business. Buy for Ā£1m then sell for Ā£4m a few months later but for me that level of money is too small when balance with Morelos's ability and future potential and how of that money we would use to strengthen that squad and the quality replacements we might attract/ afford.

Again just my opinion but for an offer to be too much to turn down it would need to be closer to Ā£7-8m.

12 Jan 2018 18:30:06
There is no chance anyone is going going to offer Ā£4m for Morelos. Think some fans need to take a reality check. He has only been in Scotland 6 months and his tally of goals isnā€™t spectacular. No goals against Aberdeen or Celtic so why would anyone play Ā£4m for him?

12 Jan 2018 18:42:57
I wouldnā€™t sell just now, a quality replacement would be difficult to come by and he hasnā€™t realised his full potential yet. He will be on the radar of lots of English clubs (who monitor hundreds of players at any one time with their vast scouting depts) and if he continues to develop they will make a move Iā€™m sure. Our key needs to be getting a 10-20% sell on clause on any player moving up the football food chain and hopefully reap the benefits for years to come. Iā€™d love to see 4-5 come in this summer of a similar profile of Morelos, 18-21 with some rough edges but a hunger and attitude to go far in the game.

12 Jan 2018 18:49:52
if we get offered anything near 4m he is off.

12 Jan 2018 19:40:36
I like Morelos as a player but think the vast majority of fans rate him way beyond what heā€™s worth. The chances he missed in old firm game yet he gets a standing ovation?! If offered a couple of million we will sell defo.

12 Jan 2018 19:58:20
Morelos is a talented lad, playing in a new country/ league. One of the few successful signing this season. He'll score 20+ this season but naebody will offer Ā£4m!

12 Jan 2018 20:05:56
Morelos is nowhere near ready for the premiership yet. He's got the potential but he needs a couple of years and much better consistency. That will only come with games.

12 Jan 2018 20:29:33
We gave him a standing ovation because we appreciated the effort he gave us. nothing wrong with that

12 Jan 2018 21:38:05
Going on the dembele calculator, i wouldn't accept anything less than 20 million for morelos. He has bags of potential. Top scorer in spl and 6 have came from headers. He could have had 3-4 against that mob who suposadly have a value of 50 plus mil. Far better player than dembele. i would like to keep hold of him to see what he's like in 3-4 year in spfl. With murphy on the left am sure he will get a load more chances and a load more goals guven the opportunity.

13 Jan 2018 00:24:57
The dembele calculator is broken there's no such thing anymore.

13 Jan 2018 12:50:36
He got a standing ovation for his over all play. Holding it up, winning free kicks etc. Yes he missed two sitters but he gets into these positions. The second header was poor but the first wasn't his fault. Keep it low and into the corner. That's what he done and Gordon made a great save.

13 Jan 2018 13:58:33
Here we go again. Heā€™s not worth even close to Ā£2m never mind Ā£4m. Heā€™s not good enough.

12 Jan 2018 17:14:53
Herrera, s just come out and says he's living the dream . No intention of leaving.

12 Jan 2018 18:11:05
the guy must be mental, i get nightmares just watching him

12 Jan 2018 18:47:38
hardly had a chance but not convinced so far

12 Jan 2018 19:38:37
Off course the guy is living the dream he is potentially one a wad of cash a week for doing very little. Its definately my dream.

13 Jan 2018 00:52:01
Rangers played much better with Herrera in the team yesterday, Morelos was AWOL and Herrera offered a more direct approach, his lay off for the goal showed his class and strength, something Morelos does not have.

13 Jan 2018 20:29:29
Herrera living dream in europe on 20k a week as a sub of course he not wanting to leave, saying wanting to make world cup squad, beleive that if ye like

13 Jan 2018 23:53:25
Anybody that prefers Hererra to Morelos needs there head examined

12 Jan 2018 10:44:57
Story going about hererra has been sold for 1.2 mil

12 Jan 2018 12:16:21
Trawled the internet and see no sign of this anywhere!

12 Jan 2018 12:17:31
i wish this was true, never saw anything in Hererra and it's a shame because I don't like to say that about any of our players

12 Jan 2018 15:01:18
Please god let that be true

12 Jan 2018 15:02:57
He played last night so no chance. If he was going murty would have left him out

12 Jan 2018 15:17:31
He gave an interview today saying he's happy at Ibrox!

12 Jan 2018 15:19:41
Would be lucky to get Ā£200k for him. Another expensive awful signing pity Pedro didnā€™t take him back too

12 Jan 2018 16:12:39
I am struggling to understand how people can make a decision wether Herrerra is a good or bad signing yet. He moved to Scotland from Mexico 5 months ago which cannot be easy, heā€™s coming on as a sub now and again for 5/ 10 mins, which must be frustrating. At least give the boy a little time. Not every player that comes will hit the ground running.

12 Jan 2018 17:31:40
Agree swany9

12 Jan 2018 18:31:50
Swany

Itā€™s quite simple he is slow doesnā€™t score and contributes nothing when he plays. He is clearly not suited to our game and wonā€™t do anything.

12 Jan 2018 18:37:56
I can't see him scoring many from the bench to be fair the guy gets a few minutes here and there and folk are saying he is rotten cause he doesn't score goals there is players playing week in week out that also don't score on a regular basis so I think he needs a bit more game time possibly a run of games in a row before we will truly see what the guy can offer

12 Jan 2018 18:40:57
who would pay 1.2 mill for him seriously?

12 Jan 2018 18:43:03
Heā€™s brutal.

12 Jan 2018 18:44:53
The controller is it your story?

12 Jan 2018 18:45:36
Swany9, i take it you don't watch rangers games because if you did you would see Herrera is absolutely useless!

12 Jan 2018 19:11:56
Jay jay. Iā€™m a season ticket holder so at all home games. My point is, a fit Scottish player who has played in the league for a few years would struggle to make an impact coming on for last 10 mins. In fact anyone who has played football at any level understands how hard it is to get up to speed of a game when coming off bench.

12 Jan 2018 20:00:28
He doesn't look great but he really hasn't had much of a chance in fairness

12 Jan 2018 20:08:00
If u watch him for two minutes u can tell heā€™s absolute dug shite at fitba

12 Jan 2018 20:31:22
Got to agree KPnuts10šŸ˜‚

13 Jan 2018 13:56:18
Hard to argue with that KPnutsšŸ˜‚

12 Jan 2018 04:34:55
Was talking to James MacArthurs mum yesterday she says his agency is trying to work something out to get him back up the road n the only place heā€™ll go is rangers, just passing what I got told on

12 Jan 2018 09:28:17
That's not what his aunties former milkman's cousin told me.

12 Jan 2018 11:35:35
Iā€™m telling you mate Iā€™ve known his full family my whole life and this is 100% true I wouldnā€™t come on here n make some sh*t up just for a laugh ya mad man

12 Jan 2018 11:56:03
Apparently he signed a new 3 year deal a crystal palace so the star Say's mate so very much doubt he's going any where

12 Jan 2018 13:22:34
Heā€™s still got 2 years still to run but he says he would love to make the move in the summer (his words)

12 Jan 2018 14:41:25
Thought he was out of contract this summer

12 Jan 2018 14:55:16
James McArthur is one of Crystal Palace's best performers. They will do everything possible to get him to sign a new deal. His love for the teds might prove to be greater than his need for high wages however. Would be great to see him at Ibrox.

12 Jan 2018 15:06:41
He is out of contract in the summer.

12 Jan 2018 18:46:47
Wouldn't come on a talk rubbish you just have 2 years to run no mate he's free contact in summer

12 Jan 2018 20:01:53
McArthur would be an amazing signing. I really can't see it though.

12 Jan 2018 01:28:33
Does anyone else feel as though we are giving Hearts an incredible advantage by undermining the prospect of resigning players like Lafferty and Naismith?
Lafferty has hit 11 goals in the first half of the season. Naismith, love him or hate him is a player of far greater quality than the likes of Devante Cole. The only way we will sign Ā£8m players just now is with circumstances like these. Unreal to think people are not willing to see how he does until the end of the season.

12 Jan 2018 07:18:42
agree nassau

naisy does split opinion on here in terms of how he left etc but his quality and commitment as a player arenā€™t in doubt

by not showing any interest and allowing him to sign for killie or hearts is a mistake

my brother in law was at the game last night and said goss and murphy both showed up well windass scores a cracker whole team played well but he said herrera was poor

we are desp for another striker after missing out on moult

12 Jan 2018 09:46:39
I would rather we go for Cummings, along with Windass and Morello our front line would be looking good. I would like Naismith back but I would rather see us signing young talent.

12 Jan 2018 13:03:16
Is Naismith still the player of 2011 tho?7 yr have passed and a lot of injuries so we should stop living in the past and just assume he's going to be the same as he was

12 Jan 2018 14:45:18
I agree as well, however he offers no value as an asset, which devante cole would, of course we need players to try and win us the league but we also need to be signing players that are going to offer us value in the long run which Naismith wouldn't unfortunately. However if the money is there I'd like to see both come in.

12 Jan 2018 14:56:45
How's about having Murphy, Morelos, Naismith, O'Halloran and Cummbgs at the club. A club of Rangers stature requires an abundance of fire power. We've talked about the need for a stronger squad. well this is our chance.

12 Jan 2018 14:57:56
I would take the wee man in a heartbeat . alright he slagged his employers off, but if anyone got the same stuff at their work would you not feel the same .

12 Jan 2018 14:58:40
Nassau. As much as I don't hold a grudge against Naisy as much as others I still don't think players like him are the way forward. A. He's no longer an 8 mill player. B. Adds no financial value to team.

TBH if we could I'd go for Cummings AND Cole.
That way we would have 3 proper young forwards (Cole 22,Cummings 22 and Morelos 21). You would hope that 2 of the 3, at least, come good. Sell 1 on for profit and you still have 1 good one at least.
This has to be our business model.

12 Jan 2018 15:23:44
Weedan

Naismith held a press conference to declare Rangers dead and that he was leaving and owed the new club nothing. Bit different from slagging off his employers. He betrayed all Rangers fans and only reinforced the opinion held by others that the club died

12 Jan 2018 17:41:04
Spot on stewie25!Let stevie naismith go sign for hearts! I don't want him near glasgow rangers! He betrayed the club he professed to love, in its hour of need! Rangers stuck by him through not 1 but 2 serious cruciate ligament injuries! Some have short memories just like naisy!

13 Jan 2018 11:07:03
Betrayed the club ? . calm doon big boy

12 Jan 2018 00:08:09
Ā£2 million bid and Cummings is our man.

Would like to see Martin til end of season and one other. šŸ‘

12 Jan 2018 02:10:34
We won't bid Ā£2mil for Cummings.

12 Jan 2018 02:20:31
Ā£2million haha seriously. People need to wake up and smell the coffee. The only decent players we will attract are rangers minded and willing to make financial sacrifices compared to what they could be picking up weekly. Getting rid of some high earners and getting the share issue cash might lead to some cash going out on transfers.

12 Jan 2018 02:39:41
He's not worth 2m I don't think

12 Jan 2018 02:44:05
Why should We pay 2 million for Cummings when Forrest Only paid 1 million just 5/ 6 months ago and Can't get a game? makes NO sense give them the 1million they paid Hibs no more, i would love him at Ibrox but Ā£1 Million take it or leave it.

12 Jan 2018 06:04:51
IF and a BIG IF, we have any money, offer what they offered for McKay.

12 Jan 2018 13:04:27
Well we paid Ā£5m for pena&herrera so anythings possible

12 Jan 2018 14:54:08
2 million, try 500k and I would think about it - bang average.
