11 Jul 2016 23:13:16
And sir Davie weir 2019 also.

12 Jul 2016 08:37:34
Bein a barber i hear a lot of rumours sometimes the odd footballer comes in and on more than occasion the name gary hooper has popped up, anyone else heard this strange one?

12 Jul 2016 08:46:44
good good that's what we want to hear!

12 Jul 2016 09:14:01
Gary hooper? What was he looking for a perm 😂😂.

12 Jul 2016 09:30:51
Barber 1

We have been linked with every striker under the sun with exception of Gary hooper. It will never happen. Playing down in England, earning good money. End of rumour.

12 Jul 2016 09:32:54
never gonny happen would never want him in ma team.

12 Jul 2016 10:15:14
Warbs and weir signing their contract extension is the best bit of business anywhere this summer.

12 Jul 2016 23:10:38
Hahaaha someone has asked for the Gary hooper hair cut mate he'll never pull on a Rangers jersey.

11 Jul 2016 20:17:05
These striker rumours regarding rangers just keep coming, my brother in law has just told me that a business owner who used to sponsor one of the rangers first team players told him this afternoon that the striker rangers are signing is matty taylor of bristol rovers and he got the info from murray park, supposedly taylor has a good few options and is out of contract, he also told him that taylor was away on holiday mulling over the rangers offer and 3 others from english championship clubs, rangers are awaiting his decision as he's back now from his hols, again guys only passing on what I've been told, however thinking about it myself it does sound logical as there's no transfer fee involved and taylor has a good strike rate, I suppose it could be a good deal for everyone all round.

11 Jul 2016 21:08:06
Celtic reported to be interested in Taylor a month back and nothing came of it and since then they have signed the lad from Fulham. Have never seen Taylor but he does look to have something about him.

11 Jul 2016 21:35:57
I would be quite happpy with matty taylor, decent strike rate and King kenny has for a lot to teach someone with that kind of potential i hope your right mate.

11 Jul 2016 21:34:12
You have plenty sources, got more gossip than a bored housewife! Has anything you've ever said came true?

I suppose if you through every players name about saying you've got a good source one is bound to come true sometime.

11 Jul 2016 22:12:12
I don't think it will be him and don't want it to be tbh.

11 Jul 2016 22:38:24
Yeesh negri its a rumour site after all. Got ohalloran correct. A bit negative there mate.

11 Jul 2016 22:55:39
Negri, I've had a good few right, way back warburton as our manager, michael o'halloran 4 months before he actually signed, frank mcparland as our new chief scout around 3 months before it happened, new ian durrant was leaving rangers before the actual season ended, stated on here about us signing harry forrester a month before we signed him and here's one straight off the press as we speak, our manager has signed a new improved contract until 2019,hows that for you NEGRI?

11 Jul 2016 23:09:48
Taylor would score a barrel load with Wallace, Tav, Mckay, Forrester, Windass, O'halloran, Holt, Kranjcar all supplying the ammunition. Just the type of penalty box striker we need rite now for free, yes please.

11 Jul 2016 23:25:18
Lets have it NEGRI, what's your claim to fame on here, how many stories/ rumours have you got right matey?

12 Jul 2016 04:12:34
Murray park told him.

12 Jul 2016 05:38:30
How many rumours have you made to get 2 right? If you through that many names about you surely should get more than that right. And there is a difference between rumours and just making things up. There's hearing rumours and continuously inventing them.

12 Jul 2016 07:10:44
It IS a rumour page Mr Neg (ato) ri. What do u expect. If you want facts go read the Daily Rebel lol.

12 Jul 2016 08:02:16
Negri warbs15 is only passing info on as it is a rumour page also as has been pointed out he has been on the money with a few what do you contribute to this site apart from negativity.

12 Jul 2016 08:20:41
Right, your source that said rangers are very close to signing assombalonga? If he signs I'll eat my ford fiesta!

I'll throw 10 'rumours' out a day and I bet you I hit one.

12 Jul 2016 08:22:31
Don't think your maths is too hot negri, try counting again, as some of the other posters as well as myself have pointed out to you it is a RUMOURS/ BANTER facility were on here, try and put some input into these pages instead of slating posters who are only passing on info regarding the club we all love, how many stories have you had correct again negri? You evaded my question the last time mate!

12 Jul 2016 09:06:21
Calm your pants all I'm saying is you're constantly throwing out 'rumours' from your 'source'.

The assombalonga one interests me, I read someone posting on another page that he would be a good signing a while ago, not that we were after, just they thought he would be a good signing, then low and behold your 'source' says we are close to signing him?!?

Anyway if you want a rumour, my granny played with Scotland and still keeps in touch with them and she has a'source' that says Gareth bales in ibrox right now trying on his rangers socks.

12 Jul 2016 10:14:49
no need to spit the dummy out negri because everyone is telling u where to go with your negativity. Not all sources are reliable infact most aren't reliable at all, but if people didn't come on here and have a go at guessing who we will sign then there would be no point in this site at all!

12 Jul 2016 10:20:24
Negri! If u don't like rumours then don't read a rumours page!

Warbs15 actually has a pretty good track record on here, plus I'm still praying that assombalonga rumour is true.

12 Jul 2016 10:43:03
I don't want Assombalonga to sign as really hate Ford Fiesta's. Getting one of them off the road would be even better Warbs15.

12 Jul 2016 11:00:35
I'm not spitting the dummy, I've been reading this for years an find it quite interesting, And take all peoples rumours in, but drop the patter with these sources! It's not sources! You're going on the same sites I am, and reading the same stuff I do, then crying it your information, it's got to the stage I read something that someone has said then come straight on here knowing warburtonthefifteenths incredible source has just gave him some inside knowledge! I just had to say something after the assombalonga one, that had me in knots.

12 Jul 2016 11:20:57
Negri, quit you're negativity and join in and participate in the rumours/ banter page, it doesn't hurt my friend, honest, you keep saying as if I get my info from one source which I have to categorically dismiss as I have around a good 5 relatively reliable sources NOT 1 as you keep saying, hope that clears it up for you.

12 Jul 2016 11:30:51
In fairness to Negri, not all of us have 'connections' but we still come on here to get some rumour-mill info. However it's not great reading total nonsense, which often looks like folk seeking attention rather than passing good info to fellow bears. Looking at previous posts Warb15 has mentioned, he's had 'good sources' for scott mcdonald, grigg and the forrest boy signing. I question what a good source is when this stuff is obviously complete pants. A lot on here is a good read, other stuff is just complete guessing and attention seeking which in fairness these folk should be called out!

12 Jul 2016 11:58:16
There's no negativity here, just think you write stuff for the sake of writing it sometimes. I've seen a lot of your reliable sources info on other pages. As people's opinions on good signings. Anyway, I can't wait to see Gareth bale playing for rangers.

12 Jul 2016 14:25:51
Kingcooper if you read my post regarding scott mcdonald I did say it was from a deluded motherwell fan which I didn't believe for a minute, the assombalonga rumour I also stated I didn't believe fair enough the will grigg info I got I tended to believe but in fairness a helluva lot of posters on here heard the same story regarding the will grigg to rangers link, I only pass on to share what I've heard and over the piece I have undoubtedly had some stories bang on the money from some of my shall we say more reliable sources ok my friend! I just don't make things up as negri portrays I do, I only share info what I've heard with fellow bears on here, that's why this facility is good and what it should be all about.

12 Jul 2016 10:25:55
Don't know much about Taylor, seems to know where the net is tho, on that basis would be worth the punt.

12 Jul 2016 14:05:12
Reading the various newspapers and looking online today at comments reputedly made by Warburton my best guess is that we would still like to sign Ball on a permanent deal but would go for another loan deal if necessary so that we could have the guy back at Rangers.

As far as a striker is concerned it also looks to me as if we are looking to sign a young attacker but again we might have to settle for a loan deal if we cannot secure the person wanted on a permanent move. No idea who that might be but with any luck it will be a player that hasn't played much last season that is looking for regular first team football!

11 Jul 2016 16:42:23
What's your thoughts on Hardie and Walsh those two seem to be nxt in line to step up, Dunno situation with Murdoch regarding his contract but think he will get loaned out. I think Hardie should be givin a chance this season, as for Walsh I think he's in last yr of contract and after reading some of his comments he seems really confident in his ability and really wants a chance this season and I think he may ask to leave if he doesn't get his chance.

11 Jul 2016 16:57:38
He won't have to ask to leave if he only has one year left. He will just get release 😀.

11 Jul 2016 17:02:04
Think Murdoch has one year remaining also, though I am baffled as to why he doesn't get a mention, anywhere. Would like to see Walsh and Hardie get involved in these 4 cup games, and make a claim for some kind of involvement during the season. Would like to see Hardie too but that seems very unlikely, seems to me he is being pushed out of the club. Maybe something going on behind the scenes we don't know about, like an attitude problem or something, who knows.

11 Jul 2016 17:12:33
Sorry I meant Murdoch not Hardie.

11 Jul 2016 17:18:45
Walsh played well against charleston.

11 Jul 2016 19:25:29
Walsh and Hardie are likely to be given the opportunity and it is up to them to take it. Not sure about Murdoch, he played well in that last McCoist team but at the end of the day they still failed to gain promotion.

11 Jul 2016 20:37:44
Murdoch looked a good player in a bad team. I don't think he is as good as Halliday or Barton. So how is he going to get into the first team?

11 Jul 2016 21:52:31
Really hope Hardie, Walsh and Murdoch have futures with us. Would be great if Hardie and Walsh are members of first team squad this season. Hardie did well at Raith and scored a number of goals. Walsh was less spectacular at Dumbarton, but did show up last week in the US game and comes across as very confident in his ability. I have said elsewhere that hope this season SM takes Murdoch to Bradford on loan and helps with his development.

12 Jul 2016 00:37:19
I seen walsh play a couple of times and thought he has potential, its upto both of them to prove it.

12 Jul 2016 10:45:25
I think if they are to get games it should be in the cup games this season! if they do well give them contract extensions.

11 Jul 2016 16:14:25
Murdoch on loan at Bradford.

11 Jul 2016 15:30:07
Heard from the same source this afternoon that told me the same last week that the striker rangers are very close to signing is the nottingham forest striker assombalonga, he tells me the signing will be done this week, warbs worked with assombalonga at watford, what a signing that would be for us although I do think its long odds that it'll happen, it would be an outstanding signing if he's over his bad injury, my own first choice would still be soriano of red bull salzburg, what a goalscoring machine he is, we can only dream and pray fellow bears!

11 Jul 2016 15:46:23
Norwich ready to bid £7 million for him according to Nottigham post.

11 Jul 2016 16:08:55
That would be a good one, but is he not to expensive, how are we going afford that warbs15th?
Not saying not true, but I can't see us affording it!

11 Jul 2016 16:16:01
I would very much doubt assombalonga with go with Norwich bidding £7 Million. Don't think we have £700k in the bank never mind that. MW has already said it is someone the press has not mentioned so never much doubt the sources i. e the person writing the rumour would know. let's just hope he is young enough and can score goals. !

11 Jul 2016 16:25:47
Before people make up all these far fetched signings why not do a quick Google search and see if the guy is available and at what price there is no way we are signing a 7m rated striker not for the foreseeable future anyway.

11 Jul 2016 16:31:49
Forest signed him for nearly £8M including add-ons with £5M up front.

As you say yourself. Long odds of that one coming off when it's not likely we are even going to pay £1M for a player this season?

11 Jul 2016 16:33:51
Bound to be someone in the Million to Two Million bracket.

MW said "It's not simple sometimes. They want £2 million, you are prepared to pay half a million and you try to meet somewhere in the middle".

Maybe suggesting we'll be willing to pay around £1,750,000 at the most on a striker.

11 Jul 2016 18:52:56
Hahaha! I see maths isn't you're strong point thorn76.

11 Jul 2016 19:59:47
So the EXACT middle would be about £1,250,000 then.

Guessing that's what we'll be willing to pay for a striker.

After all this speculating, imagine if our proven goalscorer leading the line next year going for 55 is one of Zamora, Vaughan, or Stewart. That'd be something to really laugh about.

11 Jul 2016 20:06:36
He said that as an example it don't meen the striker we are looking and is actually 2m and we are only willing to pay 500grand. I don't think them comments is any indication on how much we are willing to spend.

11 Jul 2016 11:44:08
Heard from a source that Bobby Zamora is coming to rangers and heard about Gavin Riley at Hearts us coming as well.

11 Jul 2016 12:13:41
Zamora signing would be as bad as that lot signing Carlton Cole. No two ways about it.

Signing him would be an absolute joke, and not one Bear could deny that.

Hill was surprising enough, add Zamora into the mix. There'd be no getting round the fact, it'd be a horrible shocker to say the least.

11 Jul 2016 12:15:39
Gavin Riley joined Dunfermline on loan earlier in June so doubt that one already.

11 Jul 2016 12:25:22
Gavin Reilly is away to Dunfermline on a year long deal.

11 Jul 2016 12:28:33
Really insightful post considering zamora is way past his peak and gavin reilly is on loan at dunfermline.

11 Jul 2016 12:37:23
Zamora a joke.

11 Jul 2016 12:54:21
No to both even if Reilly was available, as for Hill I think there is a huge difference on age and position and think Hill will be a great signing.

11 Jul 2016 11:12:59
Heard from a good source Tom Lawrence from Leicester is likely to join. Personally I think he is rotten.

11 Jul 2016 12:08:34
personally I think your source is rotten.

11 Jul 2016 12:17:59
Reilly is on loan to Dunfermline, has been for a couple of weeks. Either your source is speaking out his hoop or this is just part of your imagination.

11 Jul 2016 14:57:18
Tom Lawrence stats are very poor Leicester can keep him.

11 Jul 2016 01:21:32
Lee Gregory Sam winnall Scott hogan what's your thoughts bears one of them it has to be lol il be suprised if we get rvp that would be fantastic not posted in a while.

11 Jul 2016 03:13:38
just my opinion Bears but not a huge fan of either Gregory Winnall or Hogan and as much as i'd love to see RVP I can't see the lad take that amount of a wage cut!

11 Jul 2016 05:01:16
Van persie is never going to happen west ham or Middlesbrough he could end up. think lee Gregory would be a good addition but are we willing to spend money?

11 Jul 2016 10:25:30
caw1 Any bears that think RVP is heading to Ibrox are as gullible as the other lot that deluded themselves that Ibrahimovic might sign with Celtic.

12 Jul 2016 10:55:17
I don't think anyone thinks rvp will come to ibrox lol
we all know that's just a joke.

11 Jul 2016 01:50:08
Bobby Zamora to be confirmed early next week. Posted on here couple days ago. Had a reliable source confirm last night. Not to sure bout this signing. IF it does materialise.

11 Jul 2016 08:16:51
See if we have waited all this time to find out who the mystery striker is and it turns out to be zamora what a letdown that will be.

11 Jul 2016 08:30:28
Surely it isn't Zamora. The guy is 35 and can't play a full season. I know we have Miller at 36 but he defies logic with his fitness. I will be extremely disappointed if it is Zamora or crouch for a matter of fact. We need a young 20-25 year old striker who can come in and learn from guys like Miller and then maybe sell on for a profit in a couple of years.

11 Jul 2016 09:00:38
Ma gob will be well and truly smacked if it is Zamora

IMO there is absolutely no chance that he will coming - we should not even be posting such nonsense.

11 Jul 2016 13:28:02
As someone posted on the banter page:
When the ball hits your head
And your sat in row Z
Thats zamora :)

11 Jul 2016 15:20:19
Was told again this afternoon that the striker we're very close to concluding a deal for is assombalonga of nottingham forest, warbs knows him from his spell working alongside him at watford, hope this is true if he's indeed over his bad injury, my first choice although its very long odds in happening would be soriano of red bull salzburg, what a goalscoring record he's got, would be an amazing signing for us, we can only dream and pray fellow bears!

12 Jul 2016 10:58:06
wont be assombalonga he is rated at 7-8 million and Zamora should hang up his boots.
