Hearing tonight from my mate who stays in new york that rangers are hoping to sign bradley wright philips this wk.

10 Jul 2016 21:59:18
Not a chance.

10 Jul 2016 22:23:56
Doesn't want to return to Britain.

11 Jul 2016 02:42:54
I heard BWP getting thrown about like 3 weeks ago but it all went quiet so presumed it was dead but hey never know now.

JD90 how do u know he doesn't want to return to the lad UK? would really like Phillips to arrive more than Zamora! If Phillips is our permanent then these boys from Arsenal and Chelsea will have somethin about them that Warbs and McParland like. These will be players chapping on the door of a mega heavyweight 1st team and if there respective Managers think they need toughening up then who better to come to play for the Gers and Warbs! Once we get a striker signed and I for one would like a permanent deal but if not then I think Warbs will bring 2 young fast attackers and hopefully Ball. Ball will be used in rotation with Hill and have Crooks beside him, this could and will be the season Kiernan and especially Wilson step up in terms of their ability and reading of the game and I think Hill is at Ibrox to do just that, in fact he will be a huge factor for all the CB's development! I've been championing Crooks for a while now in that position but really we'll have to wait and see. Bring on Phillips and if anyone has any info regards a fee or any sources with positive or negative info on this please tell, In Warbs We Trust.

Kaylen Hinds, Arsenal youth prodigy striker coming on loan. Arsenal delighted with development of Zaleem in Glasgow.

10 Jul 2016 22:00:54
Rangers looking for someone older than that.

10 Jul 2016 23:56:10
My uncle phoned me from London the other week to tell me this. I've no idea if he's any good. He said he was 18 though so can't see him doing much. Boy would need to be a prodigy to start. Uncle does advertising job at Emirates so that's where he got the info I presume.

High possibility that the striker is isaih Brown from Chelsea. What a capture that would be.

10 Jul 2016 14:57:45
CWoodLoyal mentioned Isaih Brown earlier this week.

That we were interested along with our main striker target.

His contract runs out in 2019, doubt it'd be a permanent move.

10 Jul 2016 15:14:00
The way Warburton is talking makes it suggest the striker is permanent, he's pointed out that he'll limit loan deals. Also very doubtful Wed step up the type of cash Chelsea would want for him.

Still thinking it'll be Frazier Campbell but won't be long to find out I'd imagine, says the deal should be done by the end of the week.

If it isn't you'd doubt it'd take another week to sort it out. Warburton wouldn't have said he hopes a striker is signed this week unless a deal was imminent.

10 Jul 2016 15:28:05
I really hope it ain't Frazier Campbell the guys done.

10 Jul 2016 16:19:18
Look at the boys stats he's not what we need.

10 Jul 2016 18:04:22
With all due respect JD90,who do you reckon we need regarding we play in scotland mate? If it was to be frazier campbell then so be it, he'd be a good enough signing imo, grant you he wouldn't be my own first choice but I still think he'd do well for us in scottish football, big named strikers with big transfer fees are out of our grasp some people need to get that through to their head, trust warbs he's terrific at picking up gems and improving and getting the best out of them.

10 Jul 2016 18:25:16
A main permanent striker with Izzy Brown on loan would be ideal and the likely outcome.

Doubt Warburton would change his mind, missing out on a permanent target, then settling for a loan, no matter how good he is. Even if he did come on loan it wouldn't be now, it'd be later in the window.

CwoodLoyal did say if we missed out on our permanent target we'd use the money for another permanent signing.

The Brown deal was on top of the other striker signing, not an alternative if A signing didn't work out. Brown isn't plan B.

10 Jul 2016 19:09:53
Frazier campbell would be a good signing imo.

10 Jul 2016 21:19:04
Don't think it's Frazier Campbell, warburton was saying he wanted to get a player under the radar without the other English clubs knowing so to me it sounds as if it's someone that English clubs value for example Isaiah brown a young talented English striker who English clubs are probably monitoring and also Frazier Campbell wouldn't go for a cheap price the guy is valued around 1.5 to 2 million pounds so I doubt we would purchase him. Isaiah brown Ticks all the boxes because he is a young player who doesn't get any game time for Chelsea he is also valued around 1 million pounds but if we keep are transactions with Chelsea quite we could pick him up for such as 800k but that is just my opinion from the research I have done.

10 Jul 2016 23:32:27
Thorn! Have you forgot what he said about Eustace? Signing was imminent? Football managers all tell little lies, I'm not saying he is, but he is capable.

11 Jul 2016 13:17:56
Bears just my opinion but if Warbs shells out any money it will be on a young strikers like Brown, any experienced strikers comin to Ibrox will be at end of contract same situation as Nico.

10 Jul 2016 12:56:58
Jason Cummings will be confirmed as a Rangers player by the end of next week. I've been told he's agreed terms but Rangers and Hibs have still to agree a fee for the striker.

10 Jul 2016 13:22:31
No chance.

10 Jul 2016 13:35:48
You said a while back John McGinn and Cummings would sign in the summer for £1.2 Million and that was based on absolutely nothing. Your other 'rumours' seem just as poor and unsubstantiated. This looks like you have just jumped on the last guys bandwagon, alleging cummings was spotted at Murray Park.

10 Jul 2016 14:17:20
How can player agree Terms before a Transfer Fee is agreed!

10 Jul 2016 14:25:31
A player can agree terms before a fee is set as long as his club gives permission to speak to the player. Happens all the time.

10 Jul 2016 14:44:48
A Club will only give permission to speak to a player once Fee is agreed.

{Ed001's Note - not always.}

10 Jul 2016 15:38:20
Can you imagine Hibs giving us permission to speak to one of their players. before a Fee was discussed. no. me neither.

{Ed001's Note - it really depends on the circumstances. If the player has made it known he will not be signing a new contract and wants to leave, then yes I can. I have no idea if he has done that or not, just giving a possibility.}

10 Jul 2016 16:03:17
It's not happening.

10 Jul 2016 19:03:28
I still don't think there's any chance of us signing jason cummings but I do agree with rangersloyal that personal terms can be agreed between the buying club in this case rangers, the player and his agent before the transfer fee is agreed between both clubs, I knew that michael o'halloran had agreed everything with rangers before both rangers and st. johnstone agreed the fee and I got that first hand as I knew a member of the o'halloran family.

10 Jul 2016 23:57:18
So after agreeing Terms with Rangers Cummings plays today for Hibs in meaningless friendly V M'well. why would hibs put at risk a £750k-£1m Transfer fee.

10 Jul 2016 23:36:04
I hope not, but that's nonsense that a club won't give permission before a fee agreed, ? Anyway there's no loyalty in football, an agent can call anyone they like, and so can players.
