If Steve Clark claims he was abused in such a manner then why didn’t he bring it to the attention of the fourth official whom he was standing right beside nearly the whole match?, why if it was happening did the said official not also hear it and inform the stewards and/ or police? . Maybe Clark did, maybe the forth official did, maybe the stewards and police were informed, just covering all senarios here, but regardless of all that, and I am in no way defending any secterian abuse, anyone caught using it (and that includes towards Boyd) should be banned from football, who gives a rubbish that Chelsea saved him and his family from Scotland (I’m sure that was their intentions) . If he is as genuine as he tried to make out, as passionate to protect his family and so thankful to London then pack them all up and piss off back down there. I am finding it hard to accept his deflecting bs as truthful (not because the gers support are angels), because prior to the game he didn’t seem to care or have any problem with that kind of abuse even when directly involving his player and team when shouted from the dark side but right after a gubbin that's all he wants to talk about (how about some consistancy Clark, was that not another one of your rants) . The man is a joke and the quicker he gets the Celtic job the better.

He is in a stinker of a mood cause his team got pumped. Nothing he said however is wrong. We have been caught with our pants down. simple. If u got caught out with another woman would it be awright cause your mate is also doing it. it's unacceptable in this day and age. We need to take a stance and sort it out. We are also singing the Billy boys again. .

Chelsea fans are whiter than white! Did he really mean that? Maybe I'm being facetious but I think it was just all about having a dig at Rangers and their fans. On sunday he just wanted to talk about the football despite one of his own players being abused and struck with a coin! What a guy. I actually have a lot of respect for the guy as a coach. Shame he feels the need to pick and choose when he is offended by. Then again he does want to be the Celtic manager soon, best not to jeopardise that. Integrity all the way.

As a gers fan who grew up in England I think Clarke must have had incredible blinkers if he believes that Chelsea fans are so well behaved. For the most part, and i'm going back to the 60's here, they have always had a terrible reputation especially away from home, like most of the London clubs. I too find it ironic that he never mentioned "the greatest fans in the world" and their behaviour at Kilmarnock last weekend!

We have only his word that the abuse he claims to have recieved was secterian, I have not heard from anyone else present that they heard it, also so far the Rangers support who were there claim songs were sung and chants were made but not secterian. Unless someone can produce some evidence to back up his deflecting fairytails then why should I have to believe it (because he said so) . So let's aproach this from a different angle, the rangers support are innocent until proven guilty, if it turns out there is no believable evidence then we have to consider that this hate filled little man may be using his family and a very inflamitory issue to avoid discussing his teams destruction and his failings as a manager to stop it. It is not his first stupid rant and won’t be his last, people should remember this when judging the validity of his words.
