Someone please come and sign Tav in January. Watching this game and he is absolutely dreadful. Worst Rangers captain in my lifetime. He can hit a penalty and that is it. Can't pass, can't cross, can't tackle, inspires nobody.

Agree7 Disagree3

Been saying that for donkeys. He's cost us again tonight with his inability to geta cross by the first man
Absolute Tom kite!

Conplete lack of quality in the final third once again.

Have to agree, in the big games he’s not got it . Take the money and sell him . Big Katic must be wondering what he has to do to get a game . Worral mince, Mcauley past his best. Sick.

Here we go again. 80% of the team were crap and couldn’t pass but blame Tav. I’m not 1 for scapegoats or blaming individuals especially when most were rotten but tell me swagman, what did Middleton or Coullibaly etc have to offer because they were fkn dreadful?

14 Dec 2018 01:25:38
They weren't great either but Middleton is 18 and Coulibaly is on loan and will be gone in 6 months.

Tav is THE CAPTAIN OF GLASGOW RANGERS. That still means something to me. If you think he deserves to wear the armband that Richard Gough, Craig Moore, Barry Ferguson have all worn in the last 20 years or so then that's a sad indictment of how far standards have slipped.

14 Dec 2018 07:39:34
Nobody mentioned the armband except you and certainly nobody comparing him as a captain to gough etc but you are saying he is dreadful. My personal opinion he is anything but dreadful and there were many of our players out there who were a hell of a lot worse than Tav the scapegoat.

I mentioned the captaincy in my original post which you replied to. My point is, you are singling out an 18 year old and a loanee who will be gone in 6 months. I'm talking about our captain. First thing I would be doing is stripping him of the armband and giving it to McGregor or Arfield as they are the only 2 players who have proven this season they can be relied upon to perform at a consistently high level. Tav is an absolute liability and is too arrogant to accept he can't hit set pieces and step aside for the good of the team. If Halliday hadn't shoved him out the way we wouldn't even have taken a point from Dundee as Tav's effort would no doubt have hit the wall.
