Steven Gerrard is getting a fair bit of stick from our own supporters, after another inept performance, against dundee yesterday. Some now calling him "THE TINKERMAN"! I still totally believe that gerrard will in time, be a very good rangers manager, whereas some of our fans want to right him off just now!
ED, could you please put a poll out there regarding what the feeling is now, regarding our manager? The poll being:
will steven gerrard make it and be successful as the rangers manager or is he the wrong choice and will fail as rangers manager?

ive always believed that gerrard was the wrong man for the job and even now bar a couple of great wins in europe I've seen nothing to change my mind, however he is here and i believe if he is given time he will be a relative success but not a title winning manager unfortunately.
some of his comments about players not following instructions etc is really alarming and really sounds like the first stages of losing the dressing room imho. i also think he has underestimated the size of the club and the job here but he has also underestimated scottish football in general as well. all my opinions but it does not mean i want gerrard out as so many do after a bad result as we've been down that road too often the last few years.

The only way he will be classed as successful is if he wins trophies and I’m afraid I can’t see that happening anytime soon. He’s got to change his tactics 433 every game isn’t working.

i think he will be a good manager later in his career, benifiting from his time with us, but sadly too early to take us back to the glory.
