Mcliesh is woeful, i made my mind up on him years ago when he had prso on one wing and Stevie Thompson on the other wing crossing balls into the box for novo - the shortest guy on pitch. And he managed to piss off Lovenkrands and made his mind up to leave for Newcastle.

Gerforlife, who would you want as the scotland manager, instead of alex mcleish mate?

13 Oct 2018 18:38:09
Mcleish was a brilliant rangers manager up against a vey good Martin O’Neil side with basically no money to spend.

so you would be happy with mcleish as northern ireland manager would you ulster lol don't think so.

Absolutely not he’s yesterday’s man that’s why no club wanted him! I was defending him as rangers manager mate were I think he done a wonderful job but that was years ago.

McLeish's reign as Scotland manager has been piss poor. He's not been helped by having to play friendlies in south America. Poor individual performances, certain players taking the huff. Not sure guardiola or klopp could help us!

That is true but he did have half of the Dutch national team. The squad that he inherited was a very strong team . The same as he got when he took the Scotland job the first time after sir Walter had put Scotland back on the map . I don't think mcleish know what he is doing and the FA are worse, Scottish football has to change, they make Scottish football a laughing stock and the gazza treatment is shocking and they should all be fired.

What about the sfa having the balls to go and at least ask a manager of the ilk of guss hiddink, if he'd be interested, in becoming the scotland manager! Wish these useless fatcats,
would show a bit of vision and ambition! What about a scotland management team of guus hiddink and scott gemmill? Would be terrific for the eventual step up, for scott gemmill, learning beside someone like hiddink, don't you think guys?

Hiddink is over 70 years old, managing the china under 21s. He's had a good managerial career but can't see him being the answer to be honest. McLeish hasn't been great but I think the players do have to take some of the flak. Simple things like the ability to pass the ball? Certain players deciding if and when they will play.
I don't see any obvious manager to be honest. David moyes?

He was an awful Rangers manager, have we all forget ten Hamed Namouchi?
