Outstanding result yesterday fellow bretheren. I was a bit worried when we took foot of the gas and started to give them space to play. However, homework was done and the league leaders were well and truly taught a lesson. Team effort was solid and the Morelos goal was cheeky class. Confidence oozing from the wee man now so long may it continue. I've been saying for years to dip the German market for players. Brilliant week's work. We are the people 🇬🇧.

Jordy I think you are right there! No one in our squad has come from the Bundesliga, although I do understand Buddyblue's sentiment because the German market is an afforable one for us and they have some cracking players. Nonetheless, Morelos came from Helsinki.

Apologies for the way I worded this one guys. What I meant to say is that I would Like SG to dip into the german market in January. Good strong league and players seem to adapt the the Scottish style without too much fuss. Hope this clears that one up and apologies for the wording. Anyhoo, anyone agree with my thoughts on the German market for players?

Fair doos chief, the German market does have plenty of good, technical, intelligent footballers. We definitely need an actual attacking midfielder, one that can play that killer pass to take defenders out the game. Most of our CM'S can tackle and pass a ball there is no doubt but I never expect any of them to really drive forward beat a man and crack one from long range. Don't get me wrong I know a good one of those will set you back quite a bit, but I feel that's really the only thing our team is missing, so yeah Germany, Scandinavian countries, Croatia decent places to look for such a gem.

I feel exactly the same way jordy15. Our midfield is all about holding and passing at present. If we can grab another striker and a good strong attacking midfielder who fancies a dig from 20 yards I think SG will have a cracking squad that can go anywhere confidently and take back this league where we belong. 🇬🇧.

Not sure BuddyB. I'm not convinced we can afford much from the big 5 leagues.
I think the best bargains are to be found in eastern Europe like Katic, Barasic and Grezda. hopefully they will all kick on.
On the subject of players from countries that adapt well, I think we have to look at Holland.
Most players do well that have played there.
From way back when Aberdeen bought Snelders and Gilhaus, through the period of the De boer and Mols etc. Not forgetting Larsson for them. More recently VVD for them.
