As we now know, we won't have fredo morelos (suspended) and kyle lafferty (cup tied)
for our upcoming, betfred league cup semi final, against the sheep, at the end of October!
This leaves us at the barebones, striker wise for this important cup game! Will steven gerrard trust sadiq, or will he play one of our wingers, through the middle, up top? This makes for an interesting poll here! Could you please set up a poll ED, for all our supporters here, to gauge what they think, the best solution would be?
The poll would read, should gerrard play sadiq, Kent, middleton,
candeias, or other through the middle, up front, against aberdeen in our forthcoming, semi final? Cheers ED, much appreciated pal!

I don't think this will be too much of a problem. The likes of Middleton, Kent and Grezda could easily play up top against the lumbering sheep defence with Sadiq either starting or coming on in the second half. If we play our normal game this lot will never live with us.

Dapo Mebude uptop for me give him some first team football. I get its a risk but from what I've seen and heard the boy can handle himself.

For me personally, i'd play ryan kent through the middle, against the sheep in the betfred semi final! He's capable of tearing their defence apart, with his pace, skill on the ball and directness! So for me, kent through the middle against mcinnes's mob! We'll destroy that mob, i've got no doubt about it! Really hate that football club with a passion!

Kyle1872, when did you see him? He's just a wee kid finding his feet in the reserves, never mind ready for a first team debut in a semi final. Handle himself? What on earth do you mean by that? Nobody had even heard of him three weeks ago and now the hysteria is getting a grip once more and he's being viewed as ome sort of potential world beater! Leave the laddie alone to learn and to progress physically and mentally and maybe in a year or so he'll be mixing with the first team squad.

Agree totally mate it’s ludicrous for anyone to suggest we throw this young guy into a semi final against that mob. We had people on here a year or so ago going on about Atakayi playing for the first team. Don’t know why people are so far removed from reality

Would be amazed if Candeias played through the middle against them. We are really struggling up front for that game and if Sadiq isn’t considered good enough to be playing then what is the point in him being there.

I cannot imagine that Gerrard would risk sadiq in a cup semi-final, maybe he should try Grezda there as his fitness seems to be improving, he's certainly fast enough to cause problems to their defence?
