Lots of opinions flying around after the Europa games, for me Morelos needs a strike partner to be a success, I wouldn’t write him off just yet. Not sure about the 4-3-3, I just don’t feel we have the players for it at present. Think we need Coulibaly to be a rip roaring success and this will benefit the midfield greatly, hopefully he will take Candeias’ place in the line up as he is no Centre mid. Pleased with the defence however we need back up soon and probably about 5 short in total, hopefully get a lot of dead wood off the books this month.

You kn what boys just watched game again and after the initial disappointment for me the team played nnot to badly. think we are all just getting carried away wi the hype . not half as bad as some of the posts on here the past 24 hrs have made out. for me anyhoo.

I agree mols goals wasn't great but thought we were really comfortable and again missed a few good chances to put game 2 bed. Just lacking a bit of penetration.

wee_bear we don't need backup, the players who drop out of the team in due course (Windass, Morelos, Candeias, Murphy) will become the backup as squad players or they can find their level somewhere else. The transfer window has six whole weeks to go and other, better players will arrive. It's no coincidence that the new players are already showing to be a massive improvement on those who are last year's leftovers. Gerrard knows that too.
