Here's a surprise to you all fellow bears. I'm not going to ask the ED for a poll on this topic but i'd like to gauge all our opinions on it.
Should we try and sign our former striker,
kyle lafferty from hearts? Like i posted on here around a couple of weeks ago now, i have heard that negotiations between rangers and hearts, have taken place regarding this! I was told it was a possible swap deal, both clubs were discussing, with lee wallace plus a fee going to hearts and kyle lafferty coming back to rangers! I know there will be conflicting opinions on a possible lafferty return, to us!

Agree9 Disagree10

Why do we keep bringing this a*seholes name up every time we don’t score. he's an imposter. always has, always will be. So for the avoidance of doubt, NAW!

I can’t see the logic in Lafferty now we have brought in Sadiq. They seem quite similar to me and although I think Lafferty could do a job I think if we can we need to aim for better quality.

One former player to me that is a no brainer is S Davis.

Still a wee bit disgusted Coop at the way Lafferty treated us guys 6 years ago! I know he was looking after his career and do you think I should just forgive and forget?
I don’t know✌️👍🇬🇧.

Funny how some are willing to forgive shagger but not Lafferty - how fickle 🤔. Lafferty would give another option and 19 goals for hearts wasn’t a bad return. Would have him back in a heartbeat - did you see the bench last night 😱.

Surely no swap can take place until Wallace is fit? Which seems to be some way off.

18 Jul 2018 18:40:13
Yately 1, for the record, i agree with you where lafferty is concerned. I'm only discussing it because of what i've heard and the kyle lafferty talk is out there!

18 Jul 2018 18:44:41
At no time Gers09, did I say I had forgiven Shagger but maybe I need to forget and move on?

The question we should all ask ourselves is do we want to win the league sooner rather than later. If the answer is yes, we need eleven better players than we had last year, with back up.
So I'd say lafferty is a no brainer as one off four strikers. We need four who each score around twentygoals each, reduce goals conceded from 50to 25 then we have a chance.

Think we all need to move on from 6yrs ago. I would take Lafferty back as imo is a better finisher than Morelos and from the 2 European games so far, we're struggling to take our chances and harder teams are to come in Europe and domestically.

18 Jul 2018 19:58:49
Not for me. Not because of the way he left but because he was distinctly average first time round.

18 Jul 2018 20:22:47
I'm not fussed on who we bring in. As long as the are better than what we have and score that's all that matters. So if it's lafferty then so be it.

18 Jul 2018 20:37:17
Lafferty, no thanks. If we're looking to the past, we should've signed Naismith on loan. Glad we didn't. let's look forward not back.

18 Jul 2018 20:45:48
Lafferty definitely knows what's required to carry the weight of the badge what happened 6 years ago let it go Mcgregor got welcomed back if the dark side seem to be going with a physical front line it may be prudent to use Laff and sadiq in the same way and go to 442 or 352
So yes love him back.

18 Jul 2018 21:40:08
I'd have him back think he'd have got a couple over them 2 legs. Especially the headed chances in first leg. think big kyle would love the chance to put things right.
