What's people's thoughts on Windass being used as a striker? He is a good finisher but maybe not reliable with his positional sense be played in midfield or number 10.
It will be interesting to see how and where he plays under Gerrard.

if gerrard does develop windass into a decent player it won't be instant it will take time we need to sign a proven goalscorer to push on to the next level imo

I would rather he was utilised as a front man as he is like a man down if he needs to work back in a midfield position. Only issue is he hasn't got the balls to go in for a header if it might hurt him.

I the he could do a job up front as long as he had a strike partner, his pace would worried most defences

Windass has never really set the heather on fire for me so far but I believe there is a player in there that SG can bring to the fore. We got this lad from Accrington Stanley hardly a major signing but has shown some real quality and dealt with some horrendous stick. Yet he's still here fighting like **** to continue to play for one of the most prestigious clubs in world football. I admire that spirit and will give him my full support. I think he loves the Rangers 💙 #LetsGo
