With the Katic deal complete and Goldson on his way, I'd like to see another 6 players in and I think we'll have done very well this summer.
Full Back-I think Hodson and Wallace will both be leaving so a player capable of playing on either flank to provide competition.
Centre Back-I think one of Alves and Cardoso will go so a replacement for them to give us four good centre back options and also young Aidan Wilson maybe coming into the fold as well.
Centre Mid-I can see Holt and Halliday leaving so bringing in an experienced no nonsense Midfielder. Usually I would say we have more than enough options here but just going with the amount of injuries picked up last season, one more wouldn't hurt.
Winger-Young pacy winger, possibly Wilson or Kent again as an alternative option to Candeias and Murphy. Hopefully Middleton gets a few games also.
Centre Forward x2-I would like to see Cummings come back, I think he has a lot more to offer than he showed last season. Also would like a strong player to hold the ball up again as an alternative to Morelos or a replacement depending on what happens with that, maybe Solanke on loan but we shall see.
Just my opinions and of course we have to see if clubs are willing to take some of the squad players off our hands and what Gerrard wants in the team but yeah that's what I would like to see happen.

ArthurD I do agree that it seems to have ran its course, would have been good back up but I have faith that Gerrard and Allen have a lot more good business to come!

Very happy with the Katic deal advice it’s exactly the profile we should be chasing, not all will work out but £2M is peanuts in today’s market. I’ve never seen the man play but hopefully he’ll be a star and sort out our worst position from last season. If we get Goldson in as well that’s good business for starters. Lots of good Bosmans around just now now also to supplement the squad, I’d go for Mulumbu and Hutton for starters, would be open to McAuley for a season and if we could get Solanke on loan as well then happy days. Long way to go in the window, 1 month till Europe starts and lots of business to be done!
Very impressed by the speed of this deal also, congrats to the men behind the scenes.
