Not a Rangers issue, but how would you feel if McCoist got the St Mirren post.

Good luck to him, at least he will know what he is taking on this time round

05 Jun 2018 07:31:42
Surely St Mirren can get better than him. Awful manager who is a massive step down from Jack Ross

05 Jun 2018 10:35:25
Good luck to him. He done well with us until admin got true pace too it. Every single player that played for us in the lower leagues done it simply for the £££s, so why would they trying hard for us?

05 Jun 2018 10:38:33
'Surely St Mirren can get better than him'.

Wow, Coisty is a legend, regardless of how pear shaped it went, people forget who he had above him during his time in the lower leagues.

I'd certainly wish him well in any job and I wouldn't be talking as if a club like St Mirren is above him.

05 Jun 2018 11:15:55
If St Mirren were stupid enough to give him the job - and they're not, then I think they would end up where they were when Jack Ross took them over.

05 Jun 2018 12:31:11
I think that will happen regardless of who takes over as st Mirren won’t fling money at and will be favourites to go straight back down. Ross had them punching last year.

young and up and coming manager. Only reason I can see that they would go for McCoist is PR and the odd Rangers fan that might help fill their ground when we have an away game.

Are you saying he was a legend as Manager? Also HE endorsed these people and he had ridiculously bigger budgets than the clubs in the 2nd and 3rd division yet he still couldn’t win the Petrofac cup. The football played under him was dreadful and most of his signings were woeful. Still if your happy with that then fine

05 Jun 2018 19:16:15
Arthur.

No, I’m saying he’s a legend full stop.

I agree he was a disaster as a manager. I find it quite telling that because he was a failure as a manager you have clearly turned on him, one of your own and somebody who’s done more for our football club than most alive today.

Also, i'm stunned you seem to think everything that Ally managed through during the financial collapse and the lower leagues was so black and white?

‘If I’m happy with that I’m fine’ - well it’s in the past, you going to hold a grudge against the clubs best ever striker because he was a buff manager during the clubs darkest days? Again, telling.

Guff*

05 Jun 2018 20:47:11
I hope he takes on a role like that and proves some people wrong. We were pretty far ahead at the top of the league when the club imploded and super ally was left as the only recognizable rangers man at the club. Legend forever. Leave the bitterness to others. We are the Rangers

Spot on Pappy.

Pappy

No we were not when it all went pear shaped Celtic were top of the league so that’s false.

As for turning on him I’m just giving you the facts. Please feel free to challenge me on anything I said about his team, the signings, his style of play or the fact he couldn’t win the petrofac cup
