I don't think we are as far behind the manky mob as lots of people are making out. We may well still finish 2nd and by a much lesser margin than our third place finish last season. Something happened after the 3-2 defeat at Ibrox, a match we should have won. Murty lost the dressing room and the confidence went down the pan. I agree a clear-out is essential but there are some decent players that the like of Steve Gerrard can get the best out of, including McCrorie, John, Murphy, Dorrans, Jack, Morelos and Rossiter. The dark side must be panicking given all the trolls desperate to dissuade Gerrard from coming to Ibrox!

Agree doiger. I'd add Arfield barjonas to your list, hopefully one or two youths like Wilson, Middleton, Steven Kelly

In what way should you have won Doiger?
You were at home
Handed the first goal within minutes of KO
And played against 10 men for the majority of second half!
Please explain why you SHOULD have won? The fact we won under those circumstances only again highlights how far you are behind!

Sorry Doiger, i disagree, we've proved on the field we're so far behind them, maybe we should've won the 3-2 game but we didn't and from then on, the players knew they weren't good enough to compete. I believe something has happened behind closed doors but players MUST be professional, to loose 9 goals in 2 games against them tells you they're better than us. at present but hopefully not for long.

That is shear speculation. Where is your evidence?
Apart from the fact that his name is Steven Gerrard, I don't see what his qualifications are for such a big job. Only a week or so ago people were being shot down for suggesting a possible future manager, because others thought they had no experience and had won nothing as a manager. What happened to all of those arguments? I hope you all realise we are approaching him to sign as a manager/ head coaching not as a player.
