Neil Warnock being interviewed after today's win " that's what I'm good at, I enjoy building clubs back up ". Get him in . If Stevie G comes in I'll give him 100% backing but i believe it's Warnock that will take us back to where we belong.

Scotty123,if stevie G says yes, then its his job! that's it mate, nobody else will get it! So really can't see anyone else being interviewed until we get steven gerrard's decision! Its his job if he wants it!

I agree mate Gerrard if a player wouldo have been and a massive statement but as a manager it's just another huge gamble. One I eould say we can't afford. Experience essential this time

Supercoop, what an embarrassment this would be again for our club if Stevie Gerrard knocks back the job. First we had the McInnis fiasco and now the spotlight is on Gerrard. I feel this process is totally unprofessional and disrespectful to Graham Murty.

Supe I’m still not sure it’s going to happen, he’s wanting assurances about cash he will have to spend, until I see Stevie G with scarf above his head I’m going to be sceptical. If he is to be our next manager then it’s a a bold move.

Was murty not told he had job till end of season. Where was it mentioned he would be there any longer . I don't think it's disrespectfull for one minute. He should be grateful he got a shot at this in the first place. He new it would end. Has it been successfull . I don't think so as we are fighting now to make sure we r not fourth. Success would have been wrapping up second by now which hasn't happened due to losing 8 games at ibrox which is a horrific record.

Queens 11 look at the difference in the club. Gerrard is hardly going to be able to buy half the england starting 11. It's a lot bigger a risk this time given the state of our finances and the way the last 3 appointments have gone. It's not even a comparison mate

To be fair to the club it is hard to keep something like this secret, especially such a high profile appointment. There are so many people within both clubs and in the press where they will put their spin on things. It is a gamble, no doubt, but with fresh investment reportedly coming in it has certainly got people talking about us (as if they Don't already! ) . Stevie will need to be thick skinned to handle the haters up here but I think he will be fine with that as he is an almost Souness like character imo with an awesome reputation who loved a tackle. Like Souness he was a great player, an iconic figure to the Liverpool fans. Really looking forward to the close season if he signs as expected. Exciting times indeed!
