Hi fellow bears what is everyone's problem with steve gerrard? Correct me if I am wrong but did we not get a player manager before from Liverpool who did quite well? Was that a risk at the time? To a certaon extent aren't all appointments a risk .

Guy is fantastic professional who's achieved everthing nearly, would demand respect and get it, not sure if i want him as boss though

Can't afford to take a gamble on someone who hasn't managed at any level other than under 20's again.
