I guess one positive which came out of the Hibs v Celtic result is that it has removed the possible problem of Rangers players being put in the position of lining up to applaud the Champions-elect onto the field of play as is tradition.
Before everyone has a go, it is a tradition and if the players did it then they and the board would be trashed by many of their own supporters and if they didn't, then the players and board would be trashed by Celtic and msm. The Hibs result has removed that no-win situation at least.

LDM17, not sure what you mean. Was my comment wrong?
It is a tradition so where did I err?

Rangers were NEVER giving Celtic a guard of honour tradition or not. Hibs refused to give Rangers one and I don’t recall any uproar. Its a non story.

You are correct password- opponents applaud new champions at their first home game after winning the title - as recently as last week Falkirk did this for StMirren - which was why Morton did not have to do this at St mirrens next home game - long standing tradition-

afcw191 thanks for the verification, and your comment supports my point about removing any issue.
LDM17 - Why not? I this club above following traditions? I for one would have no problems as it goes against what they want and expect. It shows the club have decency and integrity which many accuse the old regime of not having.
Break the mould, restart afresh, show that this club is not petty. Or is that not true? Is it really same old bitterness?
