Steven Gerrard for manager? Played under Rafa Benetez and Brendan Rodgers. Experience with u20 liverpool side. Perhaps picked up a few coaching tips from klopp. Not a bad shout. Players would respect him a bit like zidane at real madrid.

So we go from one youth coach who knows the club to another who doesn’t. NEITHER have the experience required.

Zidane gets respect at madrid because he played for them and all they do is pick a team and make subs player recruitment is out of there hands they just go for big named players gerrard is respected at liverpool because he's a club legend doesn't mean he would get the same respect up here from players we need someone with experience to take control of the squad and come down hard on them get the best out of them
