De Boer is not the answer. Another shot in the dark.

Get money on the table and go for someone like Benitez, Dychr or Warnock. That’s the ilk of manager we need.

Now before you all shoot that down.

If Benitez is happy just keeping Newcastle up then that’s his choice, Dyche will see how loyal Burnley are, when next season they don’t get off to a flier (just ask Ranieri)

I’d enquire see if they have the bottle to come here and stop them for 10in a row. That would be a better legacy than a one season wonder or continued finishing just above safety.

Plus we could offer them Europe (if we achieve it) huge home crowds and the whole media swarming that being manager of Rangers is.

Whatever will be will be I guess, but we need a decent manager and funds.

If we continue to mess about with untested managers, we are destined for years of toil.

It’s up to the board to match the fans commitment, we have to do all we can to stop them.

I’m sick listening to them, lord it up as if they’re untouchable.

Boils my blood.

Finger out King and get quality in

You’re living in a dream world. Scotland is a footballing backwater that has no appeal for proven managers like Benitez or Dyche.

It has nothing to do with the boards ambition or money. if they can’t get a job in the top two English divisions then they might consider Rangers or Celtic (Rodgers is a special case with Celtic) .

We have to get quality in no matter what. Managers of that ilk is who we need. If we don’t we will end up like a villa or Leeds. Rudderless every season.

Brenda is special, he knew coming here was a win win for him. We were, still are in disarray. He’s off once his legacy is done.

That’s what we need to use in attracting a manager

Dyche and Benitez?

Mate, you need a reality check, big time.

Those two managers are in a job with EPL teams, it would cost us our full budget on players just paying compensation and the managers wages.

Celtic have paid a lot of money in ages for Rodgers, but you need to remember he was out a job.

A good enough manager will come, and Celtics time will come also. Nothing lasts forever. The gap IS closing, despite the disaster of the cup semi final. This time last season Celtic were nearly 30 points ahead of us. Now it’s 10.

If we get a manager that has come experience and is not totally clueless, sorts the defence, then we will challenge. Simple as that. Think about all that has happened this season and we are only 10 points behind?

Villa are in the play offs this season and could possibly get promoted to the EPL wouldn’t class them as rudderless
