Biglach62,can't agree with you regarding stevie clarke mate! To a lesser extent alex neil also! I totally agree with you the derek mcinnes should never have been considered for the rangers manager's job, in the first place and should quite simply, never be considered again! Who do you want mate? Because from where i see it stevie clarke with his extensive knowledge and experience of british football, would be a good appointment, as our next manager! We're not going to get pep guardiola or jose mourinho my friend! Of course we want a good manager but we also have to get real!

Is that really the best managers our club can really come up with neil and clarke no disrepect to either them.
Steve clark would be a okay apointment but he sets his teams up in a certain way and i do not think this way would be suited to the club
He has experiance in england but he hasn't won anything down there.
and i would be worried about the transfer business we conduct under him he wouuld mainly go for english based players and the fees teams down south demanand for good players we probaly can not afford them.
we need to be smarter in our transfer dealings and target players with sell on value even out of allen signings so far who would we sell for more money down the line we are just picking average english based players nothing special about them and same would continue under clark.

Lets be realistic, unless we can finish 2nd, what top names could we get or who would want to apply. I would like to see changes at the top as well. Also think we need to stop being linked with players just because they are supposedly Rangers fans. This doesn’t always work.

Some of the criticisms of Clarke: He sets his teams up defensively (just like Walter) . He's not won anything (like Walter pre Rangers) . He's a Celtic man (the most successful manager in their history was a Bear) . He'll be waiting for the Celtic job (Rodgers could be there a while, and Clarke doesn't play 'the Celtic way') .
Despite being consistently linked with them as a player the call never came and he ended up at Chelsea. This is a fiercely competitive man. I say we give him a chance to prove them wrong.
