who next manager going to be and why?

Tilladie, i would prefer a british manager that has an array of experience on these shores! I'd hope rangers can get stevie clarke, if they choose to go foreign i'd prefer michel preud'homme or slaven bilic!

Forgetting about the financial constraints which would make most appointments unlikely, my short list of three is as follows:
1. Rafa Benitez. Class act, doesn't suffer fools gladly, done it all, seen it all.
2. Graeme Souness. Hard man who has won everything as a player and a tough manager (health issues might rule him out) .
3. Chris Hughton. Has done brilliantly at Brighton but if they stay up this season he'd likely think he can't take them any further. Great manager.
I prepare to be shot down but no more 'Rangers' men like Billy Davies, Barry Ferguson, etc.

With the action the board have taken with miller and wallace they could stick with Murty. It will cost less and we won't have to shell out a couple of million a season in wages and even more in fees and wages for a new squad. Not the correct decision in my opinion, but could see it happening. What an utter shambles.

Very good question. I think we can dismiss the idea that we'll get a manager of any calibre - we even managed to **** up the McInnes saga. This is nothing short of a shambles and any manager worth their salt looking at this, plus the carry on with Miller and Wallace will stay well clear. Davie Weir has already said that the Rangers managers job is no longer coveted.

My choice of manager would be Bruce arena, but I know it won’t happen, FDB might be a good move, but remember the fact that he was able to play an array of Ajax youth players mixed with seasoned pros, would we allow him the time to implement this?
