How are the players not fired up when you have brown, Griffiths laughing at you. Really don't understand how the players seemed to have no fire in the belly. It's an old firm game for crying out loud. Get the attitudes sorted and play with some passion for rest of season.

Agree6 Disagree1

JJK you are spot on. After ibrox game we had Broon walking about with sunglasses on Griffiths tying scarves on to goalposts add to that Suttons comments in paper what more do these excuse for rangers players need to fire them up? Its a shambles.

Exactly Jaws. How are these players not putting themselves about. You might not be better but get in about them. No heart and too scared. We are getting bullied everytime we play them. Players should have took turns to stick it to brown. Only one that did that was the wee bull up front. I fully believe our players to be mentally weak.

Wish Andy the badge kisser had shown as much fight and aggression while he was actually on the park! Total embarrassment when 25 thousand mankies sing your name!

16 Apr 2018 18:37:27
I feel we have no leader on the park. Someone to dictate to players around when to press, up the tempo and start getting stuck in. A hard tackle can be as good as a goal when you need to fire up players around you.
This is basic stuff that every professional should know.

Whatever the transfer budget is this summer, it's essential we put 2m aside for a good manager.

Otherwise we'll be ripping up the team for seasons to come. They ultimately pay for themselves

16 Apr 2018 19:08:50
I totally agree with you Mols73!We must now pay a decent wage to get a really good manager, as this is the most important position, at any football club! Pay top dollar for a class manager and we wouldn't need to continue ripping up our practical full squad and starting again! I don't like saying this but its a near home example to use! Over the other end of the city, they proved when they appointed rodgers, you don't need to cull a squad! Having a good manager can make all the difference even with the same players! This is coming from myself who wanted graeme murty to be given a chance as our manager, beyond this season! I like murty as a coach and don't mind admitting i was wrong, as he's too nice and inexperienced, to be our longterm manager! Yesterday once and for all, proved that to me! I'd hope murty goes back to being our under 20's coach, and rearing our stars for the first team, hopefully!

I am more astonished that people on here were actually wanting Halliday to start. A guy who was shown up for being awful last season and was shipped out to the far flung reaches of Eastern Europe. Do certain people on here not see the obvious

16 Apr 2018 19:27:26
Coop we want a manager who will thrive on chasing down celtic and then being the top club in Scotland again and winning trophies. Hungry, passionate and ready for war. problem is who is this person? Hopefully the board know.

What were you views on Halliday’s performance yesterday? Seeing as you were the one who championed the cause for him to start

16 Apr 2018 19:41:17
I'm not even sure it is a lack of heart. It is well ingrained apathy.
We have too many average players that know they will never get the wage or play in front of the size of crowd that they do just now. They are plastic, pretend big time footballers.

16 Apr 2018 20:50:14
Supercooper.

Is Frank DeBoer a good enough manager?

Thoughts on that?

16 Apr 2018 21:14:51
ArthurD, i thought halliday was very poor but our full team was very poor! Don't get me wrong i'm not saying tav and docherty played well but they put effort in and you could see they were hurting!

16 Apr 2018 21:37:37
They were both shocking. Brown bossed the middle and if I'm wrong tav nowhere for 2nd goal.

I can’t give any of the players pass marks at all maybe some players scraped a 3 but only just. To me trying is a minimum requirement and not worthy of any form of praise. The whole club is a shambles and I honestly can’t see much improving. I have no trust in the board to appoint the right man and yet again we will be left with the rubbish that Pedro signed. I would be surprised if any of the January loan signings were retained meaning another summer where we will be looking for 8 or 9 players.

16 Apr 2018 22:35:35
JJKgers, read my post carefully pal! I said tav and doc showed more EFFORT than the rest, i didn't say they played well! They showed they care and were hurting, just like all us bears! For instance its hard for docherty in midfield when there was hardly any effort from his midfield teammates and dorrans is well short with fitness! Regarding tav, he was forced on the back foot all game and couldn't get forward, as our midfield in general stood off brown and co which made it easier for them! Does that answer what my post meant JJKgers?

17 Apr 2018 06:51:13
Halliday should have started but only to allow Dorrans to play in his best position which is up the park as an attacking midfielder that didn't happen murty got several things wrong on Sunday INCLUDING taking Halliday off when he did, I would have put murty on his arse if he humiliated me like that but maybe that's showing passion and we all now know that's not allowed.

17 Apr 2018 08:20:33
I agree with you jyf Dormans further up or not at all he is never a defensive mid and was wasted
