When will people realise you don’t have to play 442 to play attacking football?
Absolutely rips my nut this chat about two up front. We had about 5 attackers on by the end of the game yesterday, it’s nothing to do with the strikers, they got no service. Rangers could not figure out how to break Kilmarnock down and that’s why we lost the game.
We need a playmaker badly. Dorrans hopefully be back soon.

I agree this two up front will not happen it would leave us short in midfield we are top scorers in the league just because we have one up doesn’t mean we don’t attack we have players in other position who can score Morelos is the player to play up front on his own he holds the ball up great lays it off great bringing other players into the box for me Cummings is not that type of player and I just can’t see the player in him

Tactically Clarke got it spot on. He looked at what Celtic did the last half hour last week and saw that we are unable to break down a well drilled defence.
Better get used to it, because everyone else has seen it as well.
Prior to this on some cases, the opposition has had a wee bit of a go and left space for windass Murphy candeias and John to run into.

Your totally correct BearMode91!The supporters that continue shouting for 442 all the time, just don't see that whether its a 352,a 4231,a 4132,433,it can and is still an attacking brand of football! Some supporters just can't see it mate! They're caught up in this 442 bubble, that its the only formation that's deemed an attacking formation! What absolute rubbish! Try understanding the game of football!

I agree supercoop to an extent. Regardless of the formation, taking out the famous no attackers 4-6-0 formation levein played, you can set up an attacking formation from a number of options. For me, it's a no for wee Cummings up front himself. If you play 2 upfront then one has to be a big target man who is good in the air, good on the deck, and can hold the ball up. Watever formation we play at ibrox it doesn't work so why not give a proper 442 a crack at home nothing to loose we ain't winning at home anyway
