Okay, words fail etc etc on this type of performance but looking at the scenario of Murty not being in the role next season who would be the best option?

Agree1 Disagree3

Steve clark

Clarke shows what can be achieved with a good manager.

ffs last week Murty was the man 6 days later sack him what next boyd scores let's buy him once they cross the line the manager can't do much more why show fight against Aberdeen then nothing players are hiding at times

Big blue bear

Not everyone on here thought Murty was the man as you put it and it’s not about sacking him. He was only given job until end of the season. At the end of the season he should go back to his role as u20 coach.

ArthurD, you and me have had disagreements on the subject of graeme murty becoming our manager or not, beyond this season! I for one, said he should get the job beyond this season on a 12 month rolling contract! I still think this and he made the correct substitutions today, but some of they rangers players against kilmarnock today, have to hold their hands up, for that very poor, flat performance today! Some of these players just can't perform at ibrox with the expectation of our home supporters! The glasgow rangers jersey is far too big for them! that's an astonishing 7 times we've lost at ibrox this season, that ain't acceptable! Some of our players hide at ibrox especially against teams we're EXPECTED to beat!

17 Mar 2018 19:39:29
Yes we have supercooper and I still don’t think he is the man to take us forward however I couldn’t agree more about your assessment of some of the players. The performances of some today were beyond disgraceful and no player should be as inept as some of ours were today. The jersey is clearly too heavy for some and too many were hiding

I will upset many with this, but here it is. I believe a huge factor in our Ibrox record is the negativity of the supporters. They put huge pressure on the players when it is not going to plan but are excellent when we are doing well. If we could channel the positivity when we are struggling maybe we could lift the players and contribute to a change of fortune. Head above parapet, shoot if you will!

Clarke puts 10 men behind ball and hopes for a set piece or breackaway to get a result. that's why their crowds are poor.

17 Mar 2018 20:33:05
ArthurD, if you don't mind me asking, who would you want as the next permanent rangers manager?

17 Mar 2018 20:47:16
We can't keep sacking managers. i'm not happy to lose games like today but I can see an improvement since Graeme Murty has taken over. So say we sack Murty and get new manager and he loses a couple of games early on what then? Do we sack him as well? The players should stand up and be counted some of they guys are getting away with murder.

Jaws

It’s not about sacking Murty. He has the job to the end of the season then should go back to the u20 side.

19 Mar 2018 13:21:29
Your right coop some players haven't been performing but isn't it the managements job to address this? Murty seems like a nice enough bloke, says the right things but if he can't motivate players surely the buck stops with him? Clarke at Kilmarnock shows what can be achieved

19 Mar 2018 13:26:50
we wouldn't be sacking him Jaws mate. His contract will expire
