Let's get all this in context. Just six months ago, even the most ardent supporter would have accepted that we were years behind. Now it seems that we have progressed significantly and they have hit a glass ceiling.
With a little bit of luck yesterday we would have walked away with a draw at least. They have competed with some top teams in Europe which should make them better players, but on Sunday we went toe to toe with them.
There is a lot to be positive about. A while ago not one Rangers player would have got in their team, and now i don't think I would have more than two or three in a Rangers jersey. Murty's inexperience showed yesterday but he will learn, as will Cardoso.
