I don't know about everyone else but i am adding 2 and 2 at the moment and getting 5. This is about a manager for the club.
1 Jimmy Nicol is the assistant to Murty To the end of the season
2 Michael ONeil turns down the scotland job.
3. Michael ONeil says the other day that he did not want to leave NI for scotland because if he was to leave NI he would only be looking to go to club football.
I have been told a few things over the last few years and have all come true, The bread man getting the boot, Pedro getting the boot, Cummings coming to Rangers, Danny wilson going to America.
So what i am trying to say is why would Jimmy Nicol take the job till the end of the season? Has he been told Michael ONeil is coming to Rangers at the end of the season and after what he said about leaving NI only for club football.

You beat me to it blueberry up till last week he was free to go anywhere but now he has signed a new four year contract we would now have to pay a hefty compensation deal that just will not happen

Plus the media reported that his new contract has a clause where compensation will only need to be met if it's a club he moves onto.

His contract has a clause if a premiership club comes calling but it did not say if it was English premiership or both premiership.

Nicol only appointed to end of season because Murty only has the job until end of season. What is there not to understand?

if we are genuinely going down the route of o'neill as manager we are as well shutting the doors once and for all. how the hell can a manager whose only club experience is shamrock rovers and brechin seriously be considered. admittedly he has a better CV than murty and no doubt would be a better appointment than murty but c'mon guys.
just shows how far we have fallen that we are even discussing guys like this and having murty as manager

He is not the answer anyway done well internationally But That Says Nothing At Club Level
