Why do we persist in belittling our players. Windass gets constantly slated and I guarantee if he played for hearts, hibs or Aberdeen we would be clamouring to sign him. Wind your necks in and back your club or shut up about being loyal.

Too many people looking at his stats and thinking he's great. I assume people are forgetting actually watching how pish he's been in games. If he was playing as well as people make out then maybe we wouldn't be sitting 3rd. think about that. And before people tell me its a team game and its not all about him. he has made sooo many atrocious decisions in the final 3rd that could have been goals but he's made an arse of it and turned towards his own net. The criticism of him is justified in my opinion. To many bears have grown up watching the banter years and think what we witness now is acceptable. i'm sorry but i grew up watching us win silverware, what i'm watching now is awful.

I remember cammy Fraser giving the fans a gesture he never played for us again it’s an honour to pull that blue jersey on you take the stick the same as you take the plaudits he thinks he’s better than he is and I can’t see what people see in him he goes missing in every game near enough he’s a sub at most.

Totally agree with you on Windass he has ability but let's be honest here he is a halfwit and has no clue on what to do for the best! He's more interested in social media and reacting to what fans have said he will be gone in the summer!

Muir_bluenose, the bears who grew up during the banter years are still children by my calculations. I also grew up watching us win trophies, and there are plenty of older bears that remember Aberdeen and Dundee Utd etc. winning trophies. You seem to be judging the current players against a time when we could outbid the majority of top English teams for players, sadly those days have gone! There wasn't a player worth keeping from the team that Ally built, Warburton spent about £2m on his whole squad, most of what Pedro spent was wasted, and Murty has brought in a few loans, we're hardly going to be tearing up trees. I presume you think King should step aside and let someone with money chase the Champions League dream? The problems with that are that we cannot attract the top players to Scotland, it's getting harder each year for teams from countries like us to qualify and if you fail to qualify FFP means that regardless of how wealthy your sugar daddy is you can't throw £30-40m at it without some potential of a return, resulting in more banter years. So while you may not find it acceptable we have no option but to move forward slowly and sustainably. In the meantime I advise you grin and Bear it!
