After I pretty much wrote rossiter off, turns out he is back in training. Fingers crossed he comes through it this time.

Here's hoping that he is fit now but will need game time to get match fit so as I said earlier in the week the best thing for him and Rangers would be to get him out on a development loan to a SPL team for match fitness plus to see if he can cut it and stay fit

There has been a few false dawns with Rossiter and I truly hope he can get fit and start playing but I think there is something underlying that'll prevent him from playing consistently and we should get the boy off the payroll ASAP.

He will be fit for about a week, then injured again no doubt.

18 Jan 2018 18:45:49
I hope he gets fit and back playing as he is by far the best DM we have.

I always had high hopes for Rossiter, when we signed him he was captain of England U19’s at a tournament I remember. The way I see it is he has 5 months to stay fit, get in the team and start delivering performances. He would be like a £3m signing. Jury is out though and if he fails on any of the 3 then we have to get rid in the summer

Blue nose what do you base that statement on? His performances at an under 21 tournament? From what I've seen of him playimg for us so far there was a good young player with potential that's it.

18 Jan 2018 20:12:37
Personally I'm delighted to see the boy back in training. He's a young lad with massive potential. Let's not be hasty in getting rid of him

18 Jan 2018 20:17:25
Really think he will never get and stay fit. Just one of these players who will always be injured. Footballers these days seem to think you should be 100 percent before you can play. Nonsense. Butchers, browns, Fergusons play.

18 Jan 2018 20:44:58
To injury prone, needs to go lads. need to think nowadays where we could put his wages, it could be another 12 months before we could even think about getting any money for him if we sell never mind keep him injury free.

18 Jan 2018 22:53:50
You can't judge a players ability on a handful of games. IF only he could stay fit.

19 Jan 2018 08:45:08
I think Rossiter needs to be given a chance he's young if you look at Stevn Gerrard he had the same type of problem missed a lot of games when he was young and still filling out then look what happened he was one of the best midfielders of his generation down south he was U19 captain so they had hopes for him so I'd stick with him

19 Jan 2018 09:12:27
Ross McCrorie has made that DM position his own. Would take McCrorie over Rossiter all day long.

19 Jan 2018 11:52:24
A fit crossover would be the cherry on top of a pretty good january

19 Jan 2018 15:01:33
I think this has got to be his last chance and if he breaks down again its time to cut our losses. i really feel for the boy though
