I though this too but there are huge concerns for the guys welfare and mental state.
I suppose we would have to sit down with him and get a sense of where he is, stability-wise.

On his game it would be a no brainer to sign him but I believe the level of wages he would probably still command would be too big a gamble for us.

Too high wages i reckon and wouldn't chose us over Rodgers i doubt as was with him at liverpool.

For me it isn’t a gamble this guy is all heart for every team he has played he would tackle a lion too, no idea what his wages are but his price is right
