Exactly. He as far too willing to spend big money on him in the summer but apparently not now. Get the feeling Pedro is treating the club like mugs. He done that enough as Manager without doing it now

it was the boards decision to authorise Pena's signing, large fee/ salary etc based on nothing more than Pedro's say so. Wasnt him mugging us off at all, was poor leadership. I wonder how much Pedro Mendes made as an agent for all these deals in the Summer? and what questions were asked at the time?

Pedro asked the board to sign him which they did. If you look at the quotes from Pedro today he describes Pena as a wonderful player so why not buy him rather than loan him? If it’s down to finances then you wonder what percentage of his wages they will cover? They should sign him permanently or not at all if he is that wonderful a player

he will probably be looking at a loan as opposed to buying as he is trying to get the best deal for the club that now employs him. Negotiation mate, a skill we have hopefully improved on looking at our recent history

i agree we should get the best deal we can mate, fingers burnt too many times before! on the plus side, if we are wanting shot at least there is interest in him and we don't have a high earner sitting doing nothing.

Rangers will be happy to get him off the wage bill. that's the benefit.

He goes on loan has a 1.6 million clause at end of season, plays well goes to the World Cup plays well and we lose him for whatever.
