So McInnes knocked us back. So what. So there's no outstanding candidate. So what. Whoever is in charge, Rangers is much bigger than one man. Can we forget about sugar daddies and big names, there has to be a realisation of why we are where we are. Ploughing millions into a loss making business is unsustainable, and besides millionaires don't become that by throwing it down the drain. Rodgers has only achieved what he has with the fans support. Europe proves he is no miracle worker or tactical genius. So let's forget about saviours and messiah's, this is Scottish fitba we don't need to re-invent the wheel. There are still several men available that understand the standards of the club, will turn the air blue, and get us back to basics.

Keep Believing.

Yet again the board have been pulled out of a hole by Graeme Murty and yet the man is not getting considered for the job. Anybody that says Murtys not experienced enough should remember the fact that the man has more bottle to do the job than the man the board were going to offer the job to.

Jaws
His record last season wasn't very good and so far this season it's been ok.
Hopefully he'll take us on a winning streak in the next week and if he does he could be an option for our next permanent manager. The wee man certainly conducts himself well and is likeable.

Don't really agree with your point Jaws. as for Murty he knew it was and he was supposed to be a short term fix the interim manager and therefore he knew he never had anything at all to lose and was on a win, win situation, as no great things was expected from him. it would be totally different if he was offered and given the job on a full-time basis. and imo, i don't think he would cope or be our manager for long.

Onlym I'm not saying murty is the correct man for the job but we have to remember he is coming in pulling us out of a hole. in a short space of time has done better than pedro knowing full well his chance of getting the job is a non starter.

I agree, Murty is a genuinely nice guy and obviously intelligent, but there is no way he is ready for a gig like this. Ideal as an interim appointment and I like his willingness to change systems when the situation demands.

Also, the players really seem to like him and respond to him. Apparently his game preparation is first class. I've been watching his post match interviews and really thought he was going to burst into tears after the Dundee match.

Was absolutely delighted for him when he spanked the sheep and taught an allegedly better coach a lesson over the two games. I just get a feeling that it would be a huge weight would be lifted off his shoulders once the new man comes in. Shame on the board for hanging him out to dry. Disgraceful! The silence is deafening coming out of the corridors of power within Ibrox. Not the Rangers way
