We are a shambles of a club complete embarrassment can not believe this is happening a second rate manager knocking us back there must be something pretty bad behind the scenes as McIness is a rangers man believe me!

Yes Mciness is a Rangers man and he has integrity and loyalty. Before pedro joined us there was talk of him joining us then and he would have came to us but when we signed pedro he was given a longer higher paid contract by milne and they became personal friends. Couple this with his loyalty to his back room staff who we didn't want, then his (wrong) decision was to stay put, fair enough. If he had signed with all his back room staff, where would Murty have fitted? DM likes to have control of all aspects of footballing matters so Murty would have been off!

Just because McInnes is a Rangers man doesn't mean he'd have been a great manager! Look what happened with McCoist.

Am picking this up wrong . did DM even speak with rangers? Did Aberdeen give permission? Or was it the case he didn't know what's on offer at rangers! He knows the risk of becoming an old firm manager he must have known from social media there was big divide in the support! imo he is in a nice cosy job and doesn't want the hassle of the goldfish bowl mentality on the west coast! So to say we are a shambles is wide of the mark imo

I do believe you mate. I know this first hand.
The statement Rangers made shows no class what
So ever. DM is a good young manager and has done very
well with the Sheep. It’s the board who seem to be clueless

Funny how a rumour emerged yesterday and spread like wildfire that McInnes was actually a Morton fan.

Almost as if someone in the know realised he was staying at Aberdeen and wanted to placate the fans who believe we need a Real Rangers man.

The board need to take some responsibility. No doubt about that.

However, they shouldn’t be held responsible for Mcinnes lack of ambition. 2 major clubs have come calling and he has knocked them back. Rangers and Sunderland are much bigger clubs than Aberdeen. Bigger squads, better players, fantastic potential. Mcinnes bottled both jobs. From what I understand he didn’t even speak to rangers. How do people on this forum know we have no money? We have just passed a resolution at the AGM to increase our share capital to generate more funds. Also DK stated he is still prepared along with the other investors to put more money in. They haven’t done too bad in that respect imo.

Let DM and his Celtic daft no 2 rot in Aberdeen. Well see how loyal the dons are if he finishes 4th with no european football and no cups and the sheep fans turn against him. Their fans spokesman was saying his job was untenable yesterday. He has a mountain to climb up there.

Hopefully now we get a win on Saturday and push on.

Come on the Rangers.
