I think if RES11 gets through the next mgr will be in pretty quick, it all hinges on RES11 which will allow the club to raise cash. No point on trying to get a manager when we don't know our budget. All we can do is prepare a list of candidates.

Pedro gone to soon. No. The board had made their mind up long before and pulled the trigger when he couldn't argue. Imagine the board wanted rid of him but thought let's wait till the agm or the xmas break, but what would they do if Pedro put a string of results together then he would be there till next Summer. In hindsight the board were sitting waiting on their chance.

Short term manager ie till next summer, not a good idea, as Souness said the players have too much power. If the squad don't like the short term a manager they just wait it out and know he will be gone soon. We need someone on a long contact so the manger can reverse that mind game.

As for some support that are already claiming they won't renew season tickets or may stop going to games etc then fair enough its a free country but let me make it very clear, you are not and never will be Rangers class. Go and heat a seat at Motherwell.

TJBB you may have a point in your res11 point we will hopefully find out on Thursday but as a shareholder I think it will pass now that Ashley’s shares are now in the hands of club72 now regarding renewing season tickets I’ve been a season ticket holder for nearly forty years I’ve followed Home and away I’ve traveled across Europe I’ve seen this club through good times and bad I’ve sat inside Ibrox with less than ten thousand in it I’m heading toward three score years and ten and yes I’m beginning to wander if I can go through another season but don’t give me this I’m not Rangers class

Hi thinkabout it. that's fair enough you've certainly earned your right to vote with your feet however IMO its supporters like yourself that are the back bone of this club and we need true supporters to show the youngsters how its done, without you and your like the club would certainly be heading for the unimaginable. let's all stick together good and bad. i'm just a frustrated supporter like the rest and apologize for any offence. i'm approaching the half century myself and IMO its what's makes the Rangers supporters different from the rest, we just don't give up, never, not in a million years. Its not in our makeup.

I know come renewal day my heart will probably over rule my head but this board must not take the support for granted any more if it’s about waiting on investment the fans will accept it but to just say nothing encourages rumours which will grow arms and legs I think Murty has been hung out to dry can you imagine if we loose on Wed nine points behind Aberdeen going to pittodrie at weekend then the board better wear hard hats

TJBB, I don't think res 11 will have the immediate effect you imply. Won't it take a while to get any money in from the passing of res 11? Sure the passing of it will give the club a boost and some optimism, but you can't pay a manager or sign players with boosts and optimism. Maybe the first steps toward a future cash injection would give the board confidence to push the boat out financially in the hope that they bring in as much money as they hope. However, I'm not convinced that the failure to appoint a manager is entirely related to res 11.
