So Henning Berg is the latest name to be touted.
Been reading the posts from everybody and he seems to tick all the boxes people have been wanting
Knows the British game
Ex player
Has the name to attract players
Knows the European game
Won trophies
Hammered that lot

Interesting option, I remember he had Legia Warsaw competing well above their level a few years ago.

The more I think about it Henning Berg is exactly the type of profile that should be on a dilligent shortlist. I’m not saying that he should definitely be the choice but if you are going to be professional and have a variety of choices from all sorts of backgrounds then make an informed choice probably after meetings with the potential candidates. I also believe Derek McInnes should definitely be considered but for me I’d rather look elsewhere.

When will people understand that managers bring they're own assistance, you don't get to choose, and you don't have a clue about they're job

erm tommy what are you on about? all i said was i would like murty as an assistant and whoever comes in could use murty as an assistant if they wanted to we don't have to employ a double act.

Apologies Brian, just meant to say some people advocate manager, then assistants, they will bring they're own

Berg managed Legia Warsaw to the Polish league one season and the Polish cup the next. Not exactly a thrilling managerial record is it? Great player though.
