honestly don't know why people are against a good rangers man in mcinnes .
he came into that job and done a wonderfull job of getting more from what he had and also he can spot tallent that's good enough for the spl
i think he himself would become a better manager with our great club and take us further than any of us thought he could .

plus he is good with the media and good rapor with ex and current players.

Agree6 Disagree11

Think most sensible people know that

Sorry lads but I don’t agree he will take us anywhere near them . we need a proven manger that has won titles, cups etc . mcinnes is a just an easy option. for the the budget the sheep had when we weren’t in the league he should ahve finished second

15 Nov 2017 17:27:43
He had a very small budget, so your talking nonsense, before you mention Europe, that is the players fault, he can only prepare them, if they're not fit or savvy enough then he can't do much with them, with Rangers he will. although the also like Graeme Murty a lot, think they could be a great team, no Coleman, oniel, pardee, allardyce, etc, hopeless at club football,

15 Nov 2017 17:42:54
Tommy it’s u that’s talking nonsense mate. we are a big club we need a big manger and mcinnes isn’t one . never won a league, lost 2 cups finals last year. u mention Europe and that’s the players fault is it? For not being fit or savvy? . Now that’s nonsense

15 Nov 2017 18:07:33
Is it? Walter smith wasn't a big manager, neither was Alex Ferguson, neither was bob paisley, neither was mourinho, nor guardiola, nor Jim McLean nor big Eck, nor Lennon, nor Joe Fagan, all won titles with major clubs or on small budget, like McLean, and according to you, player who isn't performed properly is the manager fault? Tell me everything a manager can do when players don't perform? Many manager has lost his job because players don't care, they still got paid, you obviously think a " big manager" is going to come to Scotland, Brenda came here to take advantage of Rangers situation, enhance his reputation and make a fortune, tell us what is a" big manager?
Tommy

I think Mcinnis is a good manager and if he was to take over rangers only time would tell if he was successful but in Murty we have a guy that’s already there and has trust with the players. this time and the last he got the best out of them which the two previous managers couldn’t and with one of those games being a well deserved draw with Celtic and that was also with only having a few weeks of putting his ideas over to the team plus on top of that working with a director of football probably wouldn’t be a problem. if you ask me the answer to our problems is already there

15 Nov 2017 18:25:52
It’s not mcinnes I’ll tell u that

So u telling me if we do appoint mcinnes and we don’t win anything in the first year then it’s the players fault not Mcinnes? .

A big manger is someone when wins things regardless of the budget. who gets everything out of the players season apon season. and has won things when the season ends

We as a club are looking to close the gap on them we
won’t do that with mcinnes

U tell me what’s so special about mcinnes that he deserves the gers job?

15 Nov 2017 18:27:51
Tommy- sorry but your point is mute. All other managers you mentioned, won the title. Mcinnes hasn’t! For me
He shouldn’t be the manager because he isn’t the caliber needed! Considering that us/ hearts and hibs all went down in recent years, it would have been criminal if Aberdeen did not finish second repeatedly. Outside of the 2 Capital clubs only Aberdeen can compete in regards to budget/ fanbase so if you were young/ Scottish and wanted to at least be challenging for something in the last 3 years, Aberdeen was the only option outside of Celtic and yet they failed to produce anything. I’m sorry but Mcinnes isn’t a winning manager and that is what we need. Bringing Sir Fergie into that comment was just daft. Not a big manager!? Also- Brenda joined Celtic because he was a boyhood fan and although I despise them, he’s worked magic so you can’t really knock him. He almost (and should have) taken Liverpool to their first title in years and was outstanding at Swansea. You clearly like Mcinnes because he’s an ex player of ours and would be “safe hands”. But I’d rather see a winning manager with a proven record come in.

15 Nov 2017 18:39:05
It’s not mc innes I’ll tell u that

A big manger is someone who gets the best out of the players season apon season regardless of the budget he just does it end of and he produces titles and cups mcinnes won’t do that for us

I’d rather we just left murty in charge rather than go mcinnes it’s just my opinion tommy

(I’m starting to think your tommy his no2 😂)

Tommy

I’m with you mate. Mcinnes has done a good apprenticeship and done reasonably well at Aberdeen.

He knows the club and was at our club when we were a fantastic club. He is Scottish and knows what it’s all about. Something I think we need. Someone to get a bit of pride back and get the club moving on the right track.

I hope the board have the money to make it happen but the delay in appointing a new manager worries me and I am rapidly losing my confidence in them.

Fingers crossed Tommy they do the right thing

Come aff the glue. Rangers are a massive club in name, size and support. Unfortunately we r not a big draw for a big manager at this time in our history . We don't have the money to pay him and we don't have the budget. u all really need to get real. McInnes is the stand out candidate at the price and he woukd work within our budget.

15 Nov 2017 23:30:18
JCGERS. . you want a big manager who has won things noo you want Murty. he's won hee haw!

16 Nov 2017 08:27:39
Let's all be honest. Currently, where realistically is our squad - a comfortable 2nd place.

A good manager, even with a limited budget, should be able to put some pressure on celtic, win the games we should win, and punch above our weight as an underdog.

Unfortunately, I think unless there is another 10m investment in the summer, we'll be behind them again no matter the managers being touted.

Therefore, the pressure of expectation will inevitably be on the new man, so it needs to be someone who understands and can handle reality vs expectation.

We need to get a consistency of performance that allows us to put pressure on celtic firstly.

16 Nov 2017 12:35:27
You do realise I was talking about them being" big manager" before they got their job and started to win things don't you,? Would you have done without Walter? Unbelievable
Tommy

16 Nov 2017 13:27:18
Mols your opion becomes null and void mate when u say your a comfortable 2nd. You have never been there your not even aa comfortable 3rd lol.
