Another reason for King and the Board to go for McInnes is the sheer fact that he is imo the vast majority of our Supports choice. This means that if the Club were to opt for someone else and he does not take the Club forward or worse he fails miserably then the flak King and the Board would get would be massive!
McInnes is tge obvious Candidate! He has shown consistency, and has the huge benefit of not only knowing our game but knows OUR Squad AND the other Teams! This is Knowledge that would take a Pardew etc a fair amount of time to get up to the level of a Manager such as McInnes! Even at yhid moment you coukd ask Del how he would like to set the Team up, WHO he would keep AND WHO he doesn't rate and prob get rid of.
He could probably do this with a fair amount of confidence. Ask one of the other Candidates and all would need 4-6wks minimum to get the slightest clue!
Only other Man who could combine close to this kind of thing is Wright who for me if he git the job, I would be fine with! The big man deserves a crack at Managing a big Club. I het a good feeling about him, I think he could come in and the Playerd would take to him and end up busting a gut for him. Think BOTH have got that Walter Smith vibe.

Another thing. Who knows the situation regarding the Lads on Loan? Are they ALL on Loan for a full Season or are all/ some coming back to the Club in January.
Thoughts on what the chances of any even getting a chance to prove themselves under new Manager?
Don't know how much will be available for Players in Jan but think offloading a few for an actual Fee be it minimal would be wise. Can see McLean arriving if McInnes gets in and maybe a couple of loans.

your whole post seems to be its okay for mcinnes to get the job if he can bring in mclean and a couple of loan players is the sheep the benchmark we have got to, time to move on from mcinnes it ain't going to happen if it did and he failed it would come back and haunt us

11 Nov 2017 11:14:42
No. I just mentioned that McLean may come in Jan and as for the Loans, if finances are stretched then Loans prob makes sense although we may have some loans coming back! Dunno how Dodoo has been doing or if he will be back Jan.
Sheep are not the benchmark but 2nd this Year is a minimum!

Andy your consistent, as I never usually agree with you. I don't think there are as many as you think want mcinnes

Andy you have far too much time on your hands mate.

McLean is crap and isn't the kind of players that will get us closer to Celtic we need quality not ok imo

I’d said the other day I estimated around 50% want McInnes and the other 50% were split between all the other candidates. I’d say the longer it’s going the more people are swaying away from DM. The truth is, we have no idea of the budgets involved. There are cheaper options than McInnes and more expensive options including the budgets they would be looking for transfers and wages etc.

At the end of the day the board members have put their money in and they will make the choice they think is best. No one of them would make an intentionally bad choice.

They may well decide that DM is the best option, if they do I’m behind him 100% but I’d love an appointment with more intent, Gio van Bronckhorst or the like but the main think I want from any appointment is someone who can develop our young players and who can set a team up properly. oh wait, that could be Graeme Murty!

But a poll on here says more fans want Murty if it was a two horse race between him and McInnes. Kind of damages your assertions a wee bit, Wee Bear.
