Have to say that I'm underwhelmed by Del if I'm honest. I'm not sure what to think, is he the man to lead us forward or is he a safe bet to stabilise us for a couple of years?
Not having a go, just putting my thoughts out there as I'm sure there are quite a few of us thinking and feeling the same thing.

Think he will do well and knows what's required . after all he's been plotting tactics against us so knows strengths/ weaknesses . Think he can hit the ground running without wholesale change . just my opinion. a lot of people were underwhelmed with Walter Smith . he soon changed opinion!

100% Cletus, I honestly believe the ship is pretty steady at present and the next appointment needs to be able to push on and for that there will need to be significant funds put their way. For me McIness will no doubt get 2nd comfortably for the next couple of years which is fine but I also believe Murty could do this, McLiesh could do this, most managers could do it with the budget and players available.

We NEED to be qualifying for the Europa League ASAP and McInnes is surely a risky appointment having never achieved this. Also his knowledge of players seem to be limited to the British market, we’ve been down this route before. For players of a certain level then Rangers is the biggest move of their career and I really believe we need players who are looking to advance their careers via Rangers.

Just my opinion guys but from my own personal point of view, graeme murty ticks a lot more boxes than derek mcinnes, to become the 17th manager of glasgow rangers, here's why! Graeme murty is already employed with us, he knows our structure and full set up from youths all the way through to the 1st team, he has tactical nous, he has players wanting to run through brick walls for him, the players like him, he's a good coach who CAN work under our DOF mark allen, there's no 800k compensation to fork out! Onto derek mcinnes, he IMHO only has 1 thing up on murty, he's a more experienced manager, having managed st. johnstone, bristol city and now aberdeen! I've given u all the info here guys, u choose! Its a no brainer for me! Give murty the job until christmas, if our upturn on form continues, then at the beginning of january, give murty a 12 month rolling contract! No risk here as far as i'm concerned!

I'm kind of non plussed if McInnes gets the job. The prospect of him hardly excites but given a chance I believe he is capable of doing a good job.

I'm not stating this as a reason to sign him but I think Aberdeen will be weaker without him. Which I guess is a positive.

It goes without saying (and has been said countless times already) but whoever gets the jobs we should all get behind him 100%.

Watching Mboro v Sunderland James taverniers brother playing for boro looks decent scored first goal.

I agree supercoop if macinnis gets job I would give him my full backing but I would rather have Murty.
