I don't fancy McIness for manager to be honest. I feel like he’s an underwhelming appointment to say least, maybe the reason he is the poster boy for the job in the press is that it would make them feel safe that Rangers were unlikely to challenge for the foreseeable future and they’ll be able to bash us for being so far behind (exaggeration)

McInnes has been largely praised for a number of years now by the Scottish press.
We would all love the kind of bigger name that would have fans flocking to the stadium to see his appointment confirmed like Celtic fans did with Rodgers but this type of big name seems highly unlikely and so McInnes for me is the best of the current contenders.
I doubt he's a miracle worker but we will definitely improve under him and after Caxinha he'll be like a breath of fresh air.

Well if he gets it I’m behind him 100% but hopefully he would understand that being dumped out of Europe be Cypriots etc. is not acceptable and the calibre of player we want to see is up and coming European players and not SPL stalwarts, which is my main worry with him!

Wee bear DM’s Aberdeen team year on year get shafted out of Europe by teams that good Scottish teams in years gone by would pump he is not the answer for rangers I have stated in a previous post why I wouldn’t want him and the points against him for me rule him out and that’s without me mentioning tactically not the best and can’t attract big name players I know it’s the spl so big names won’t come but I doubt he would even get prem league fringe players to join all he would do in my opinion is make us the best of the rest and that for me is unacceptable

Jimbobgers. . he's tactically not the best? And what qualifies you to know this? The xbox? or have u managed at a good level and have your badges? He can only manage what he's got at his disposal. To finish second 3 years running is a great achievement. Even our budget is miles more than his and we couldn't catch him last year and don't look like doing it this year. Celtic are leap years ahead of everybody else. un fortunately . I would love big Sam or the like but why on earth would he want the job. McInnes is the man who fits the bill at the price we can afford.

How would playing the x box make you know about tactics? I don’t need to have coaching badges either to form an opinion if he was a good tactical manager he would not be in the spl managing he gets bested year on year by Celtic that’s including delia who was terrible and in Europe also against teams with smaller budgets if he was good tactically he would pull out results look at the record of results from his sheep side in Euro competition it’s shocking and to say finishing runner up in one of the worst leagues in Europe is an achievement haha that’s when your post was laughable you don’t need to be a chef to know if the food your eating is garbage so stop being an absolute weapon

u can't tell me he can't do it at rangers because he didn't do it at aberdeen that's like saying to someone that u can't win the league with man city because u couldn't do it a crystal palace.
and extreme example i know but and example of the crap that u are talking none the less.
because he couldn't win in europe with a team that has pretty much no european players doesn't mean that he can't do better in a better club .
can you open your eyes and see where everyone with a brain is coming from.

He is currently at a better club, 2nd best team in the league 3 seasons. Cup finalists? So he is at the better club now.

Do you mean I’m talking baws purely because it’s not the same opinion as yours tell me a manager that’s done well with a smaller club in same league then went on to win the league in recent years so that’s flawed also Kwaj kills your point on us being better than Aberdeen I’m afraid at the min we ain’t so yes he is at a better team just Now and not doing it my eyes are open just not deluded if I don’t share the same opinion as you I’m then talking baws and don’t have a brain? If he was tactically good he wouldn't be in the spl? Rodgers is managing in the spl is he not? He did get offered the Sunderland job aswell but could see through that so clearly has a wise head on his shoulders
