In a stronger league than ours too. Does make you wonder what they could have done played correctly

Ipswich aren't playing against teams who make playing us their cup final! The games are far more open! Best of luck to them but let's move on and get behind our strikers

15 Aug 2017 20:49:24
But they wernt scoring for fun at Rangers or they would still be there. Couple of good guys but just didn't work out . They got plenty of changes to be fair

The Championship is wildly overrated. Actually watch some of the games and you will see that. Don't buy into that whole nonsense about it being streets ahead of SPL.

The pressure at Ipswich is nothing compared to Ibrox but well done to them regardless, never good enough for us.

Waghorn was through one one with keeper on a lot of occasions with us and couldn't finish so we can't rewrite history he wasn't good enough to play for us or he would still be here.

I'm not a fan of Mick McCarthy but maybe Waghorn and Garner playing well may have something to do with the manager.

McCoist, McDowall, McCall, Warburton, Murty and now Caixinha.

Mick McCarthy has more experience and knowledge of management than all six of these managers combined.

I always support the man in charge of the first team, but could you imagine if we got a decent experienced manager who is able to get the best out of players and play to their strengths?

Could you imagine someone like Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis, Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp, Alan Pardew, Steve Bruce.

You can debate the success rate of these managers and whether they'd suit the club or not but you can't argue they all have experience and would be realistic IMO.

We are Glasgow Rangers after all.

played correctly . waggy. really?

how exactly did we play waggy incorrectly? he got plenty starts and lots of support from midfield and full backs bombing on to help provide chances which he missed week in week out once he stepped up to SPL. championship was his level where btw loads of his goals were pens but once in SPL he was found out - sorry it's true

ok maybe we didn't always play to garner strengths in a 4-3-3 but waggy - sorry i'm not having that

weight of the jersey at rangers is just too much for some to bear - something players at Ipswich st johnstone &'the like won't ever experience waggy was one and if you ask me makay was another

prob mainly because when they made a bad pass they had 5k fans booing and calling them for everything then coming onto websites like this and get told they are the worst players in the world and aren't worth 200k. i suppose that is a great comfidence booster for any player that wears the red white and blue. wee example of the rubbish some fans spout on here big wes doesn't come for a one cross against motherwell they score on here get him sold he isn't good enough he is rubbish he is not rangers class. why don't we support our players wee wake up its not going to happen guys gers play 40 games win 40 games player rating 10 out of 10 every game no mistakes net worth 10 million each. that's what some fans on here expect wise up guys support the team and player give them a lift when they are having a bad game

Played correctly.

What I mean by that is having actual wingers (not forwards played put of position) in the team to create real, constant goal scoring opportunities. Not just half chances, and a decent couple of chances in a game.

The way we played under MW didn't allow Waghorn too many opportunities to showcase his ability and given that Candeias is the first real winger we've had in a good while, Waghorn might have benefited having the type of service Candeias provided for Morelos goal against Hibs.

"Waghorn" and "Ability" There's two words I never thought I'd see in the same sentence. He put in the effort, no denying that, but not good enough for Rangers.

16 Aug 2017 07:51:51
Now that's a manager i like to see at the gers alan pardew

16 Aug 2017 14:22:17
sorry but I've never seen a striker miss soo many opertunities and he had hunners . loads of sitters one on one with the keeper and loads of other chances he skied into the top half of the stadium or put well well wide he couldn't do it in a rangers top never mind tactics or positioning he couldn't score whe he had the chance unless it was a nalty

16 Aug 2017 14:46:47
Let's just get behind "Our" manager players and coaches and we will get success. Doesn't happen overnight but a blind man can see improvements. C'MON THE RANGERS
