Rangers beat Watford 2-1 in closed doors friendly. Candeias scored the opener and Waghorn the winner 2 minutes from time.
Caixinha played 4-4-2 again.
Small steps.

Yes good result but performance and match fitness much more important than result. Just read Pedro's comments and think he is getting carried away a little bit with this and the Marseilles results in non competive matches. Competitive opener at Fir Park followed by 2 battles against Hearts and Hibs all need to be won Pedro.

Recall dropping 2 points against Hamilton in opener last season and we never recovered from it. Other than Dodoo inspired 3 nil victory at Pittodrie our performance in competitive matches had been extremely poor under the manager.

From what I remember even the 3-0 against the sheep was only won due to them collapsing for 10 minutes

Yep, 2 wins in friendlies (wins none the less) and Pedro is suddenly giving interviews again about the 'process'.
Wish him and the rest would just can it till we walk the walk!

Just read Pedros interview he says 4-4-2 seems to be the formation the player are reacting best too and this is what everyone has been asking for.

That's him showing a willing too change his idea to suit the team more than could be said for mr bread before him.

Positive things going on hopefully this can unify the team.

I definitely wouldn't be getting carried away with a couple of semi decent results in friendlies.

For me the team should be

Fod

Tav Bruno cordoso Wallace

Candies (seems too be proving me wrong) jack Niko and dorrans

Herrera and miller

I don't think any the players being linked would make us much better maybe Naismith would maybe a replacement for miller for the next few years. I wouldn't burst the bank for walker one year on his contract definitely would pay a million for him 600k tops as again I don't think he's a must have.

Fd what is it with you and dodoo. You say Pedro is getting carried away but you are getting carried away with a guy that has a terrible first touch and has done nothing. Are you his agent, his dad, his lover of just him because why else would someone back a donkey so much

gary75, great post. We are all passionate supporters and entitled to the occasional outburst and contrary opinion, including Pedro. The boy Dodoo has massive potential and is a natural finisher. Think he played around 20 games last season most of which consisted of 20-30 minute appearances off the bench and scored 5 or 6 goals that gained valuable points. The quality of his strikes against Thistle and the sheep were top class and if Forrester had been less selfish and passed to Dodoo we would have at least drawn that game against Celtic. Fear he will be allowed to leave without being given the opportunity his talents deserve.

coz a guy wants to be positive and put positive thoughts into his players he is getting carried away

i will tell u lot one thing about our team its confidence is fragile as it was last year and i blame all the fans that gave them nothing but stick from day one.

our fans are up there with the most negative fans there is because of what we just went through for the past 6 years but its time to put that to bed, get on with things as they are and really get positive about our team as it looks a damm sight better than it has for the last 6 years
