Does anyone else take their kid to Ibrox? . Had my eleven year old daughter at the last old firm game as nd the language out of grown men was absolutely shocking. Now she doesn't want to go back. I hope we can get back to singing decent songs and have a family atmosphere.

Sit in the family section, should hopefully be more fitting for a young family.
It is a sport followed by the masses - and unfortunately the masses in Scotland use colourful language.

As for the songs, there is hardly any songs sung at Ibrox in any case - but they have always (songs about players aside) been a bit on the sweary/ sectarian side and I think the current gulf in class between the two clubs only makes the anger worse - in turn making lips become looser.

I take my daughter, but I avoid the old firm games, don't want her hearing the nonsense that comes from some fans, she's happy in the family section watching with other kids around her.

Family section at an old firm game?

15 Jun 2017 11:27:49
When has Ibrox ever been a family atmosphere? Go and support Partick Thistle or Queens park or better still watch American Football.

To be fair its not ideal taking her to an old firm game if your trying to avoid bad language. Does the family stand not make a difference?

When did we ever sing decent songs?
I am in my 60s it has always been aggressive sectarian songs and profanity.
So I don't get what you mean by get back to. decent songs and family atmosphere.

My dad took me to games I take my kids after 7 years, that's 2 of my 3. My eldest daughter is also 11 going on 25 and son 8 they have already heard all the language at school and from my wife :) when she's mad at me.

I think a few people on here need to rethink their attitude.
2 of you have suggested this guy doesn't take his kids to Ibrox?
That's a great way to treat a fellow fans family. Where is the respect?
Where are our futture supporters suppose to come from?

Sit in the family section or in the club deck.
