Don't know if this Is correct, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

But what I heard is that only new players registered before the 19th can play in the europa league 1st round. Which is what I knew anyway.

What I didn't know was new players registered before the 7th of July can play in the second round.

The second round is the one I'm more concerned about given that there's good sides in there like for Example Galatasaray

I thought that only players registered before the 19th had to go all the way until the last round. But it seems from what I have heard we can register other players if we get to the 2nd round.

If that was the case then I would feel a lot better about the Morelos transfer, and if my information is correct he could jump in at the second round, and register before the 7th of July, which would give him more than enough time to get his paperwork sorted. And tbh if that's the case I would be fine with that.

I'm think we could easily enough get through the 1st round, but it's the 2nd round that there is a real chance of getting a either good or very awkward opponent.

I'm not taking anything for granted in terms of the 1st round, but I think we can get past that one with the player that are here now!
And then for the 2 nod round all the new boys would be ready.

But I'm not sure 🤔 if that's right, if we can register new players for the second round.
Hope so!

There is indeed a later date you can register players for later rounds although I'm not sure what those dates are.

Thanks, blue genius- I just needed to know we could still register players for the other rounds after the 19th.

It seems we can, which is good news considering we don't know exactly when all these proposed moves were making will be done and dusted.

The problem will be with the home grown players rule. You need 8 players trained in Scotland between the ages of 17 and 21. Where 4 of them must have been trained at Rangers. If you can't fill the 8 spaces then you have to leave a blank spot for everyone you are short.

I don't think there would ever be a chance of us registering a full squad of 25, maybe 21 or 22. Then it becomes less of an issue.

you register players before each round. then there's the final registration before the groups stages and then again before the knock out stages start.

you need 4 trained the club (Wilson, Mckay, Beerman and another from the youth team, probably the keeper Kelly) and then 4 trained in Scotland (jack, Wallace, miller, halliday, bates and holt all fall into that category) .

You then can add anyone up to a total of 25 players.

I think under 21s don't need to be registered either.
