Need to get over what happened years ago with Naismith etc aswell. Done what was best for his family. I'd have done the exact same thing.
Gers fans at times are a bitter bunch of negative b@@tards. That's how the outside world sees us.
Need to quit all the nonsense an just get back to supporting our team.

So maybe you should quit

People go on about, he was doing what was best for his family. He had the chance to transfer onto the same contract and let's be honest we would have accepted any transfer fee for him and he would have been off to the EPL all the same. But he decided to line his pockets as much as possible and ABANDONED us when we needed him most. What goes around comes around - I hope he and his pals never come back to ibrox (not even as spectators) they are not welcome!

It was his decision to make not yours. He is a quality player who would improve OUR team. Who are you to decide who is welcome in OUR stadium. Short sighted if you ask me but everyone is entitled to their opinion including Steven Naismith.

I'm with Zikos, I will not be welcoming any of that lot back to Ibrox. Like any right minded person I never expected them to stay in the Third division, and in fact we couldn't afford them too. But to walk away leaving the team with no transfer money was nothing short of scandalous (no matter what Green may have done with the money as they weren't to know he was dodgey) . Footballers jobs are not like yours and mine. I am not a monetary asset to my work, footballers are. They took advantage of the situation in order to line their own pockets. And now they think they can walk back in once we are doing better?

It doesn't matter what you or anyone else thinks about Steven Naismith or any other player, if the manager wants them and a deal can be agreed then they will join the club. As fans we need to support the club, the team and the manager.

I think most folk thought Green was dodgey. Not surprising that players would have felt completely disillusioned with our club at that time. Esp after the Craig Whyte fiasco! Anyway if Naithsmith came back i'd be delighted, as with any of the names we're being linked with.
