I like the prospect of Alves alongside Danny Wilson in the centre of defence. If we can get Dorrans and Jack in the middle plus a good goalscorer that would be a big improvement. With a spine built on Foderingham (Great shotstopper), Alves, Rossiter/ Jack and a new striker I'd be happy.

As I've posted I'd be very concerned about the mobility of them as a pairing! Wilson is slow and Alves is slower.

Agree with most of your comment doiger apart from the foderingham being a great shotstopper he struggles even when shot right at him like in the old firm and too much of a pussy to come out command his box at set pieces i'd like to see the sub alnwick get a shot can't be any worse Imo

Cheers Rabski. I still think Fod is a decent goalie, not the best we've ever had by a long way but how do we sign a better keeper and who from and for how much? Also, who could be the new striker we could bring in? I'd hold on to Garner as he can score goals if played in the right position. Think I'll try a double on Hearts and Aberdeen in the next two games against the celtic mob to cheer myself up if they win!

Need a bit more mobility and speed at centre half than those 2. Would like to see Alves come however we need a quicker centre half alongside him. Also feel we need a right back, 2 central midfielders, 2 strikers and another wide player.

I think we need 3 centre backs and Wilson as fourth choice. Moan at me and say I'm rong all you want but I bet that's what Pedro does.

However what you have got to remember is Wilson in his first stint with us was playing alongside Davie Weir and done ok. Pace would be great but a good footballing brain is essential and Alves has got that.

i tink we will see 6 new signings this season and will be more quality.
id be suprised if he didn't bring in a few players that we didn't from the likes of the mexican league or elsewhere
