HITC and Football insider websites among many others are just pure clickbate nonsense designed to give their pages 'hits'.
They will warp any dull, non-news news article into some catchy headline, not just once but multiple times over to get you in there.
Then rumours are born and average Joe blogs comes on here with their 'inside source' rhymes with fish.

What Lafferty and the others did in our darkest hour is indefensible but any player than can improve the team (Waghorn is rubbish) should be considered. We must rise above his past mistake, Rangers supporters should prove that we can forgive and forget. If he scores the winner in an old firm match he will be a hero.

I will take Naismith back gladly and would come over to the UK and drive Steve Davis to Ibrox but Lafferty, no thanks, he was a total embarrassment when he was at Rangers before, more headlines on the front page than on the back page. He would be a liability!

Laverty isn't a legend we can all agree on that. But neither is the likes of weiss who is lauded by some rangers fans as a legend. Weiss played 23 games for rangers so I don't know we're all this hero worshiping comes from. Lafferty was a better servant to the club than many of the other ex players who are hero worshipped!

thebluedrew the guys isn't what we need to catch celtic he just isn't anywhere near the kind of striker we need even when he was in his prime.
i don't care that he left i'd take back naisy i a heartbeat as he is a class player where as lafferty has went backwards and wouldn't get more than 16 goals in a season so naw i don't want him never rangers class to begin with and never will be i'd rather stick with waggy
