So alves isn't interested in moving to scotland and the ghanain would require a work permit, so who is pedros targets now for centre back? Liam lindsay?

With King in charge it could be Kiernan and Wilson! I will be interested to see what unfolds but am not overly optimistic that we will see any quality signings. Just more bull from King until the season tickets are sold!

Alves was exactly the type of player we need for next season alongside half a dozen more new recruits with a decent footballing CV!

There is the Argentinian defender from santos Laguna also alves deal not totally dead as I remember papers in the us saying that kranjcar has decided not to come because of his girlfriend that turned out to be false so we still don't know yet Hears hopeing tho would love to see alves at ibrox.

Here is a thought. The papers don't have a clue who we are after. They are spinning crap and more crap! Pedro isn't giving much info up so the papers do what they do best, tell a bunch of lies.

Keith (exclusive) Jackson of the daily rebel is worst for crap info ut latest signings.

Alves will come, at his age when will you see European games again

10 May 2017 22:52:23
The argentinian signed a new three-year deal earlier in the year

10 May 2017 22:29:15
Who says the Ghanaian can't come over like

11 May 2017 01:30:34
The Argentinian signed a new deal but if he wants to come and we want him then its a simple job of negotiating a transfer fee!

11 May 2017 07:07:14
I know that but i get the feeing he wouldn't be cheap

11 May 2017 08:10:10
Gerz, he wouldn't get a visa, you need to have played in 75% of your countries international games in the past 2 years, Rashid has been involved in none. He could possibly get a visa, but there is a 99% chance he won't.

JD, I suspect that you are right but it is up to King and Co., to back the manager and this transfer window will show us just how serious they are about mounting a challenge to Celtic. In King's case he is better using his money for these players than leaving it is South Africa since it won't be too long before the current Regime confiscates all the assets of European South Africans the way things are going in that country!
